#Chapter13
Lending a helping hand
Ted's POV
Yawning, I placed a hand over my mouth. Business talk was boring. I didn't care about how much they value this company or how much they could be useful to them.
The two bald men in front of me were indirectly singing me a lullaby anytime they spoke. They kept on blabbing about their business prowess since Ian left the room.
Abruptly, a screaming head flashed in my head and bolted out like it wasn't even there. Gasping, I rested a palm on my chest and stared at the desk before me.
/"Mr. Hamilton, are you okay?/" One of the men asked, his tone brimming with concern.
/"I'm okay, you two need to leave./"
/"But we haven't.../"
/"Get out./" I glared at the both of them, clenching my jaw.
/"Okay, geez,/" one muttered, nodding at the door, giving his partner the sign that they should leave.
They both moved briskly towards the door and left the room without turning back.
