#Chapter31
Dracula
Ian's POV
Darkness engulfed the most of my living room. I had switched off the bulbs. The only sources of light was from the lamps hung on the walls.
The flames of the lamp heated the place, opposing the chilling draft of air that kept on rushing into the room through the tall windows. The curtains flapped against each other, the moonlight darting though the windows.
/"Have you done this before?/" I asked Gabrielle, my eyes trailing her rearview.
She shook her head. /"I've never summoned a beast as strong as this one before./"
Sprinkling salt on the black tiles, she went around in circles. Zara dropped candles on the circle Gabrielle had formed with the salt.
/"Do you think this binding spell is necessary?/" Jason asked behind me, closing our distance.
/"Yes, he can be wild at times./"
/"Very wild./" Zara skirted past me, the box of candles in her hands.
