I find my bed empty when I wake up. I call Abby, but there’s no response. I quickly get up and pick up my boxers on the floor. I start searching her in every corner of this penthouse, but Abby is nowhere to be found.
She just fucking left me, and she didn’t even fucking say goodbye. That’s it. And this is what I’m trying to avoid—complications. And this time, I made things between us complicated.
