/"Ok... you're done./" The doctor smiled as he pulled the needle from my arm. /"I'll have the results in ten minutes. Sit tight./" He smiled before walking out of the infirmary.
Once I had told Levi everything, I wanted to make sure there was no Matebane in our bodies. I know from the stories I've heard that it can stay in your system for a few weeks. I don't know what it would do to our bodies if it's flushed through us constantly.
/"I can't believe we're doing this,/" Levi grumbled beside me.
I pulled my jacket on before twisting my body to face him. He was glaring at the floor, taking deep breaths. /"Levi, I need to know,/" I whined.
He huffed, shaking his head. /"If it's still in our system... what do we do then?/" He shuddered.
/"Find something to counter it, get it flushed out of us... I don't know./" I sighed. /"I didn't think that far./"
