I gawked at Rhydian. His eyes were bulging and they were bright red. /"What's happening to him?/" I whispered, keeping my eyes on him. /"Um, he's like a Dark Wolf now,/" Alex answered. I whipped my head around to him and my eyes went wide. /"How? Why?/" I puzzled. /"To match you./" He answered shrugging. /"Do you feel any different?/" He asked. I shook my head before looking back at Rhydian.
He was laid still in the bed, eyes open, canines and claws out but he wasn't making any efforts to move. The occasional growl was slipping past his lips. /"I think you need to calm him down./" Lucas squeaked. I took a deep breath and linked my fingers through his, /"Rhydian?/" I murmured. His head turned to me slowly. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes. He reopened his eyes and gazed at me. His beautiful blue orbs staring back at me, a huge smile filled his face and he sat up.
