Cracking a lid, whining and swiping at the hand that inched towards his lips again, he licked off the residue that the big idiot had been trying to force into his mouth. Pause. Went back for another lip as his taste buds decided they were too busy enjoying the sweetness to identify it.
/"Burdie?/" He sat up groggily, fighting against the way his eyelashes tried to stick together, squinting at the distorted outline of his current favourite person. /"I was sleeping./"
/"Food is more important than sleep,/" Raven dismissed, shuffling closer along the sheets. /"Now hurry up and open your mouth./"
Before he could make a crude comment, something was shoved against his lips, his birdie's over-enthusiastic nod urging him to comply. So he did. And frowned. It was nice. Rubbery and odd, but the taste was sweet and deep, a caress of chocolate and a hint of . . . Jam?
