His mind had been overly active lately. Thought it was real cute pulling up snippets from memory lane. Had him reliving moments he'd barely even recalled. Like the hand thing. Like the way Ronan's hand had felt wrapped around his. The way he'd switched on his Daddy mode and comforted him through the take-off and landing, doing everything in his power to distract him from the flight.
It had meant nothing at the time, but right now? For some reason, his heart was convinced it meant everything.
