When it came to Summer Meadows (her parents must have thought they were hilarious when they named her) Ronan had learnt three things.
The first was that she had no filter. Mind to mouth was a direct flow, and to the sensitive, offence was only a bad outfit away. But Ronan loved that quality about her. It severed the bullshit before it had a chance to fester, and she had become his main critic for his outfits because he knew he could rely on her for an honest, feelings-be-damned opinion.
The second was that she either looked like a runway model, stunning and enchanting, or she looked as though she hadn't left the couch in a week. He'd never seen an in-between.
The third was that she sucked at comforting.
