The inside of the club was chaotic, in both design and in reality. Noise greeted them in volcanic waves, and the in and out blinking of the overhead lights, a sea of colours, had him feeling twitching. The dance floor was a sunken level that was overlooked by a rectangular ring, sporting tables and booths, and there was an upstairs access where the floating staircase seemed to suspense above the heads of the drunktards.
For an alarming second, he felt like turning around and running right back out. But he didn't. Wouldn't. Couldn't. He'd come to flirts instead of Raven's club for a reason; he had to be able to find himself even when he felt like he was drowning.
The main bar was a neon lit platform behind the sunken floor, and they followed the railings around rather than fight through the middle of the moshing wildlings.
