Ronan squeezed in between Raven and Isaac. The two had been thumb wrestling, and Isaac had been cheating by digging his foot into birdie's shin.
/"Missed you, bambino,/" Raven said softly. /"When we get back, you and I are going shopping because I saw so many things I need to get you./"
/"When we get back, can we just go to bed and sleep?/"
Raven didn't immediately answer. His eyes searched his face and eventually he nodded. /"Whatever you need, mi amore. You holdin' up alright?/"
/"Just tired./"
Birdie hummed and left it at that, but his arm circled around his shoulder, drawing him close. He whispered to him that he was beautiful, and his favourite star. It had him smiling and nuzzling into the big guy, but it didn't stop his overloaded brain from trying to compare him to the image Angel had painted. After that, he held his birdie tighter, his chest panging for all he must have gone through.
