His cheeks were numb and a chatter tried to knock away at his cheeks. Ignoring them, blinking a series of times to try and thaw out the icy feel to his eyeballs, he replied, /"What?/"
Angel flicked a finger towards the back of the car. /"You're doing good. Just thought you might need to hear that./" And with that, he yanked open his own door, ducked inside and that was the end of it. As though he'd already moved on with his day, he didn't so much as spare a look back, leaning over to kiss Lucien before buckling up and throwing the car into reverse.
