The first hour after opening was insane. Once the music kicked off, some hardcore soul-piercing gothic melody that made him feel like he'd disassembled his heart, just to watch it bleed, just so he could stitch it back up with ticky-tack and staples, and folk got to drinking, things got real interesting. Leather was in, and Angel must have found himself in heaven of some sorts because the most predominant colour scheme was black.
The twins were flitting around. Raven had given him a key to all the facilities in case he needed a break, and had told him he'd be in his office if he needed him or wanted to join, and Angel could occasionally be seen stalking across the floor, glaring at anybody who got too rowdy. Acted as a wonderful deterrent because James and Julie, the bouncers who managed the doors from the inside and kept the punters playing nice, didn't need to do a thing.
