‘I should do this faster so I could go back to Lia’s side,’ I thought as I watched the eye of the hurricane. Slowly, the nature surrounding us started to react and change in preparation for the arrival of the bastard god.
A god, or deity, is indeed different from a mere mortal. That was the general rule of the land. A mortal could not challenge a god that even nature was afraid of. Because by doing so, only death would be the result.
Indeed, that was the law.
And that law hasn't changed, even after a thousand years have passed from the last war of the deities.
The oppressing green light surrounded the area and my mere mortal body started to feel the pressure.
Seconds passed and a tall figure started to manifest in the middle of the eye of the hurricane.
It was just a mere silhouette. But the power that contained that mere shadow was overwhelming.
/"What is a vulgar wolf doing here?/" The figure said.
