ADELIA
Sometimes, my co-workers are overbearing – that was the thought that flashed into my mind every now and then.
Maria, Harry, Jackie – the three of them were my always cheerful co-workers who never failed to make me smile. However, there were days when they were uncontrollable and overbearing.
‘This is one of such times,’ I helplessly thought as I was pulled inside the shop.
/"Hurry, get the dress we prepared for her,/" Maria shouted. At that time, she already completely forgot that only a few minutes earlier, she was about to pull another person’s hair.
/"Harry don’t just stand there and grab my make up kit,/" she once again shouted. /"Actually, never mind the make-up. I think our pretty little Adelia will look best without it,/" she sniggered beside me.
I took a deep breath before looking at Maria and saying, /"Maria… what is happening?/"
