The king of the werewolves was the most exalted werewolf in the entire land. All werewolves were bound to respect and obey all his orders. That was the golden rule in the werewolf realm. The king’s words are the law of the land and everyone must follow it. It sounded like a simple rule. But it was more complicated than that.
In fact, a werewolf could only give his loyalty to one being – and that was not towards the king. A werewolf could only be loyal to his alpha. The master of his life.
So how did the king manage to have the authority to reign over the entire realm? Simple. Because the king of the werewolves was in fact, the alpha of all the alpha.
He ruled over the alphas while the alphas, following his orders, ruled over their subjects.
