LEWIS
Lia suddenly stood up. Her formerly blushing face immediately turned pale. We were still connected through the mind link and I could hear the numerous thoughts and the various emotions that she was feeling. She was caught off-guard and was panicking. I felt a small throbbed in my chest.
I stood up beside Lia before grabbing her hand, /"Lia,/" I called her name, but her thoughts were too preoccupied to hear me. At that moment, her emotions were overflowing and made me focus on her feelings instead of the thoughts that were running through her mind.
‘How come you suddenly feel like this?’ I thought as I felt the intense anxiousness and helplessness in her heart. ‘What is it that you see for you to always feel these intense emotions?’ I closed my eyes before trying to ignore her feelings and focusing on her thoughts.
‘Ahh,’ I opened my eyes immediately as I read her thoughts.
