/"See you guys on Monday. Have a great weekend,/" Ms. Morgan said while everyone gets up and walk out of the class.
I put my folder in my backpack and carry it on my back. I walk out of the classroom into the hallway. It's lunchtime so I walk to the cafeteria.
Sam appears from the corner and run towards me. I stop in my track and watch as she tries to catch her breath.
/"What happened?/" I ask. She must've had something important to tell me since she ran all the way to me.
/"Corbin and Lucas are fighting in the blacktop next to the football field,/" she said between breaths.
My mouth drops open at her words in shock.
I run through the hallway and out of the building to the blacktop. Corbin must've been the one who started the fight. He beats Lucas to death.
I reach the blacktop to see a big crowd forming. I run towards it and squeeze my way through the body of students to the center.
