As they wait for the arrival of the pathologist, they walk around the perimeter of the security fencing, David and Piet testing points here and there, they check on the repaired section, and both men are satisfied. Their wandering’s around the smallholding ends up at the chicken houses, which according to Piet look very secure that not even a Leopard would be able to get in
The sound of the vehicle carries to them across the vast open bush, and they can see the dust cloud being thrown up behind it as it makes its way towards them, and into the yard.
