A steady soft buzz of the alarm, along with furious barking from Bodger, brings David and Adele out of a deep sleep, instantly awake. The light of the full moon filters through the curtains of the bedroom, giving them enough light to grab the firearms, and head towards the kitchen. Bodger’s growls rumble across the kitchen, as he frantically digs at the bottom half of the door to get out and confront whatever’s on the other side. His flanks tremble, as he starts another barrage of vicious barking.
