#Chapter56
I sat at the end of my bed, staring at the dress that hung on the back of the door. So much for an amazing, fun prom.
/"Honey?/" My mother walked into my room.
/"Are you okay? How was prom?/"
/"Its was awesome./" I put on one of my best fake smiles.
/"Great./"
/"Mom, Im tired though. I really need some sleep. All that is partying tired me out./"
/"It is late. Goodnight sweetie and I will talk to you in the morning./" She pulled me into a hug and placed a light kiss on my forehead.
/"Goodnight./" She walked out.
I picked up my towel and walked into the bathroom. The shower was a tension reliever. Each spray of water massaged my tightening muscles. Once I was done, I brushed my teeth and walked out.
I came to a halt when I noticed a figure standing by my window, his back facing me. This familiar figure was motionless, almost like he was concentrating.
