Theo moved faster than I could have predicted. He slid behind me, pulling me into his arms and scooping me up, a hand under my ass to hold me steady. He forced my legs around his hips and he ran back into the forest. My scream was stolen by the wind's speed whipping past us. Everything blurred, no human could move this fast. Bile rose and pooled in my mouth, burning its way up my throat.
