Evelyn POV
I was woken by the sun coming up, lighting up the backs of my eyelids. I looked around my surroundings only to find Ryland next to me and I was leaning on him inside the shed. How did I not wake up when they moved me?
The answer was Orion who was sitting across from me staring at me and I could feel the fog lift off me.
/"You didn't come home, '' he says simply. I sit up, my back cracking from the awkward position I was in.
/"Yeah not like any of you want me there/" I tell him hopping up.
/"I thought you were destroying them, you could have just told me/" he says.
/"Like I could get a word in with you screaming at me, you didn’t give me a chance to explain/" I tell him walking to the shed's roller door and looking out at what was left out here.
/"Why did you come here?/" Orion asks and I look over my shoulder at him.
