Paige and I were at a bakery. We were figuring out what to eat when I looked at her. /"You remind me of a cupcake, all soft, squishy, and ever so yummy./"
She rolled her eyes. /"You never change, do you?/"
/"What fun would that be?/"
We went back and forth like we usually do. It was our thing until a woman added her two cents.
/"You shouldn’t talk to her like that,/" a woman told me.
I looked at the woman. /"Excuse me?/"
/"You heard me. You’re offensive, not to mention crude, and have no respect for people./"
/"In what way?/"
/"You objectified women. No woman likes someone to refer to them in a sexual nature. That is the problem with men. You think you’re better than us and act like it./"
Is this woman for real? I called Paige a cupcake because I find her cute, and this woman is giving me a sexual harassment lesson.
