#Chapter57
Putt-putt
Matt
Nora and I took the boys to putt-putt, hoping to spend quality time with them. Let me explain how this works. Most families play miniature golf and act like decent human beings. Our family plays and acts like fools.
I paid for a game of eighteen holes for Nora, me, and the boys, starting at the practice green. I made a hole in one on the first shot. Nora, not so much. She tapped the ball and missed the hole. Okay, the first time I can see. After twenty times, I moved the golf ball into the hole.
Elias took two shots. Nate lined up his shot, and Deacon put his putter between Nate’s legs, who smacked Deacon with his putter. I shook my head as Nate and Deacon chased each other around the practice hole. We’re never finishing this game.
I had enough and handed Nora my club. I grabbed frick and frack’s shirts and dragged them to the next hole.
/"Knock it off before I knock off your blocks,/" I said.
