#Chapter60
No more boat rides
Matt
We walked into the house. /"No more boat rides for you,/" I told my wife and kids.
/"Did we miss something?/" Larissa asked.
/"It seems like it,/" Skylar said.
/"Some asshole thought he would take Nora for a ride and not using a boat,/" Markus told the girls.
They did a double-take. Mason and Casey were still nursing their injuries as Nora sat down in a chair.
/"I wanted to spend time with the boys. I didn't think a jerk would try things with us./" Nora sighed.
I knelt in front of Nora. /"I love that you try to see the good in people, but not everyone is decent. I wish they were./"
/"I know./" Nora sighed.
My wife has honorable intentions and a kind heart. I fell in love with her because she has this innocence. Plus, life dealt her a lousy hand. Most guys would yell at their wives because they made a mistake, but I'm not most guys.
