The two men only stared at her as she left before heaving out a sigh in unison. They too left the balcony.

Arora's room,

Arora charged into her room but before she could bang the door on its frame, Elise came running behind her and hindered it from shutting.

" milady, what's wrong? I noticed you came here looking quite upset. ". Elise entered and locked the door as she watched Arora slump on the bed lazily with a grunt escaping her lips.

" He talk as if he have ever let me gone to the city.. ". She spoke in a low grunt but Elise could hear her.

" There's absolutely no need to get angry for what he did. He's just looking out for you". Elise said walking up to the window as she pulled the roller blind close before moving to crouch before Arora's eyes.

" He doesn't care about me, he only cares about his damn reputation. Do you know when last I've left this palace?. It's almost a year". Arora scowled at Elise's face.

" You need to listen to yourself right now. You sound like a little child..". Elise rolled her eyes as she spoke. It was true that Arora behaved like a child always. She still thinks she's a eight year old in sixth grade. Elise could not finish her statement as Arora chipped in without warning.

" Oh yes, I know. ". still filled with paranoia, Arora flung herself up and strode to the door. She felt insulted.

" where are you going, milady?". Elise asked as she stood straight but Arora only banged the door shut after leaving. No matter how angry she is, she would soon come down to her senses of how childish she was behaving.

Meanwhile,

Arora walked through the long hall way that led back to the main hall. She thought she might be able to still see some guests there, and she would use their presence to while away time. The double large doors were open for her by the two guards that stood there in their post. As she entered, she became quite surprised. The hall was empty only for father who was having a discussion with a man that she could only have access to his back view. She walked forward, wanting to approach her father when her father looked at her and signalled her not to come further. He had seen her just as the door were opened . Arora immediately halted in her steps. She wanted to push on by persuading her father on letting her go out tonight. That was the exact reason why she came hear.

She drew her lips into a thin line heaving a long sigh as her gaze travelled from her father to the man he was discussing with.

From the look of things, Arora could tell he was no ordinary man from the way he stood and spoke to her father. She was far from where they stood but she could feel his demeanor and aura was utterly different from everyone else she met earlier today.

His perfectly fitted tailored suit and broad shoulders caught her eyes and she became curious of who he was. And what he looked like. Because the air oozing out of his body seemed domineering.

She craned her head a little to the left to take a better view of his face but she could only take a glance of his side view, still it was not clear cause he was farther from her.

" Arora ". Naran called out as he took notice of what Arora was doing. He had a brow raised with a questionable look on his irritated face. She was distracting him with her actions.

She immediately straightened and gazed at her father who called out her name.

" yes father.." She replied as she walked towards him with careful and steady pace. All along, her eyes fell on the back of this anonymous man as she moved to them. Who was he?. He felt different especially with his sliver curls brushed back in a slimy look behind his ears.

Finally, she approached them and she hoped the man would turn to her.

" Prince Adams, meet my daughter......" Naran turned to her and threw a glare. The way he looked , no glared at her was as if she had done a grave crime by interrupting them and he was not willing to introduce her to the man he was standing with now.

" queen Arora...." . He said and gestured her to say something.

Arora sighed and opened her mouth when the man eventually turned at her and she gasped. Her jaw dropped leaving her mouth open but no word came out.

And the moment their eyes met, her heart momentarily stopped beating. She could not say anything again and her eyes were glued to his face. His face was white like that of the snow but pale and his lashes - they were too long and thick for a man. His eyes were.....they were bloody and fiery red similar to a burning fire and it made goose bumps grow on her skin. She'd never any eyes like the pairs she was looking into right now. They were really captivating, she was finding hard to look away nor say anything. Her gaze moved from the captivating pair of eyes to his nose , his lips, his jaws. Every single part of him made her heart beat widely and strongly against her chest. She has never seen a man who has being blessed with such beauty and perfection. She tried to look away but for some reason, she felt like he did something to her as soon as their eyes met. He was too breathtaking.

" Queen Arora....". His deep and masculine voice echoed in her ears and she jolted out of her reverie.

In slow motion as it seemed, Arora bowed her head a little with a smile on her lips in order to show how awkward she felt.

" Arora meet the crown prince of Wales, Prince Adams". Naran introduced him to her and she nodded.

She have heard a lot of that name in the past but she never knew what the owner of the name looked liked. It was rumoured that he was the only surviving vampire that was half blooded. She hoped their paths would cross, now it did.

" It's pleasant to meet you". Arora smiled and stretched out her hand for a shake and surprisingly, he did not leave her hand hanging. He shakes her back with no single expression on his face but she didn't care. All she cared about was that she was shaking an handsome man presently.

She exclaimed inwardly as she found it utterly rare for ones hand like his to be this warm. Truly pleasant.
