Malone felt herself moving in space. She opened her eyes the moment she felt the cold shill enveloping her whole being. Her eyes kept shuddering full of confusion. Her eyes witness nothing but an empty white space covered with fog, staring back at her. The whole space was dead silent. She jolted back hearing her name being called by someone.
"Malone…" the caller repeated her name twice gently. But she found no one the moment she turned around. Her eyes grew wide open seeing the familiar back of the person she recognized fading away. She chased after them in a hurried step with tears streaking down her face. She finally gave up and held her knees with her palms on her knees, breathing heavily with a tensed heart. "Daddy…"
She cried out slowly with a broken heart. The back of the person disappears amid the fog.
She slowly fell to the floor sitting on her butt. Tired of everything, she has her two hands placed on each side of her side with her head hung low. Leaving her hair falling out of place in a disheveled manner.
She wept silently. Her voice echoed throughout the whole white space.
She stiffened the moment she felt the gentle touch of the hand on her right shoulder. She slowly raises her head looking straight ahead, her eyes furrowing wide open. Afraid to look back. A lot of emotion passed through her eyes.
"Malone…"
She heard her name above her head coming out of the very familiar voice, husky and rough. Her eyes slowly welled up in tears as she hesitates to look back afraid of losing him out of sight again.
"Malone, it's okay father is here." She snaps her head around in shock to face him. "Daddy, is that you?" She asked with her breaking voice. Her father nodded gently at her with a warm smile spread across his face. She grabbed his palm tightly to make sure it wasn't just a dream. He helps her up gently. "Daddy It's you…"
Her father kept nodding his head in accordance. Malone couldn't withhold back the joy and excitement in her heart as she hurriedly wrapped her arms around him in a hug. He returns the hug with a sad smile as he strokes her back gently sniffing back his tears silently.
They broke away from the hug. After a few seconds. Malone held him by the arms with an obvious smile and sadness on her pretty face. "Dad, I was so worried about you! where have you been?"
Her father raises his right hand to her hair and rubs them gently with a slight smile. "Daddy…"
She called back his attention seeing he never said a word again. Her eyes flickered up as a thought flashed through her mind. "That's right, Mother has to know you are back?" She explains as she turns around at the same time. "Mother…"
"MALONE…" her father cut through her words, calling her with a heavy breath. Malone turns her head back around to stare at her father. Sensing the obvious strangeness in his voice.
Her heart grows with Panic. Panting up and down. As she watches her dad slowly let go of her arms. The fear in her grew more. Running through her like crazy. "Father…" she made a cold step toward him. As Her heart kept pounding in rhythm.
"Malone, this is just but a dream." He started. Her eyes widened at the same time her tears clouded her eyes and fell. "I'm sorry, that l won't be here with you like l promise till the day l will hand over to your beloved." He apologizes with hot tears, streaming down his face.
Malone, stare on with shock and a broken expression. Finding it hard to believe a thing. "Malone, my dear, I want you to always remain happy, always no matter what happens, and take care of your mother." He continues with a forced smile. "I apologize for not being a better father." He said the last words with a bitter expression.
He wipes the tears in the corner of his eyes with his rough palms. Malone shook her head in disbelief. Taking a closer look at her father. She noticed he was putting on his normal clothes. A blue T-shirt and black pants. But taking a closer look at his brown hair. It looks damp. Her father slowly turns his back around. Without forgetting to give her a last smile. "No… no" she cried out and ran after his fading figure. His figure slowly disappeared as she tried to grab him and touch nothing in the air.

Her eyes flick wide open in the hospital bed. As her mind slowly recalls everything that happened. She grabs the bed covers tightly making her knuckle and veins pop out. Tears kept sticking down her eyes as she did so.
"You are finally awake?" She heard the soft voice of a woman above her. The lady's appearance looks shadowy in the first place. She tries forcing herself to recognize the person more clearly. "Hey, stay calm. Don't try to force yourself, you have been in a coma for 23 hours." The woman said again, reminding her.
The words of the lady slowly sink into her as the haziness in her mind starts to clear. She finally could tell the appearance of the woman. A chubby lady in a white uniform with a white pin placed on her hair. She had a pleasant warm smile on her face with her right-hand tucked inside the pocket of the uniform she was putting on.
Remembering her mother, she rose from the hospital bed in a hurry. "What are you doing?" The Nurse lady reprimanded. While rushing towards her and holding her back. Malone tries to force her way out but finds no strength in her. She sighs heavily. "My mother?" She questions tiredly.
"Miss, you need to calm down to rest," the nurse continued, ignoring her question.
Malone glared at her furiously. "Oh, my, Your mother is okay, she went out with those officers." She explained hurriedly seeing the cold stare she was receiving.
Malone relaxes back on the bed, resting and hearing the nurse's words, she calms down a bit. The chubby nurse sighs deeply. What a tough Lady, she thinks to herself.
