Eddie stormed into Vivian's desk, his anger simmering.
"Can you come out for a while?" he asked in a hushed tone, trying hard to keep his fury at bay.
She looked at her manicured nails and said casually, "I don't have time to go out with you."
Eddie tightened his fists at his sides as he struggled to control his temper. "Are you coming with me? Or do you want me to yell at you in front of everyone?" he asked fiercely, leaning slightly over to her.
Vivian sat up straight, ready to strike back. When she looked around, she noticed other people looking at them with interest. She didn't want to cause a commotion, so she grabbed her purse and stood up, deciding to go out with him.
Eddie turned around and walked out, with Vivian following close behind.
When they came out to the parking lot, he slapped the letter down on his car bonnet, his eyes blazing with fury.
"What the hell is this, Vivian?" He spat, his voice laced with anger.
