Jasper raised an eyebrow. "That's a pretty big ask," he said. "I'm not sure the designer will be willing to do that."
Britney leaned forward, her eyes shining with conviction. "I've already met with him," she said. "He wants to see my creations. If you insist, he'll select my work."
Jasper sighed. "I'll show him the designs," he said. "But ultimately, it's up to him whether he likes them or not. I won't interfere in his business."
Britney's face fell, her hopes dashed. "Jasper..." she said, reaching out to grab his arm. "Please. You have the upper hand here. You're investing in his venture. He can't turn down your request."
Jasper shook his head. "I understand where you're coming from, Britney. But I can't force the designer's hand. It's not fair to him, and it's not right for me to try to manipulate him like that."
