With the messaging ringing out, my time for preparation has come to an end. Now is the time for war! The real challenge of this trial is surviving long enough and conquering the other territories. Additionally, I wanted to reach the final trial mentioned at the start in the case of conquering all five of the invading forces' territories.
For this, I developed a strategy which would focus on my battalion and 10 other battalions invading other territories, while the remaining 89 children clan would defend the stronghold. I had only intended on using 10 children clans and my select elite forces totaling roughly 100 million combatants. Dividing the massive legion of warriors, I would have 5 separate invading forces of around 20 million combatants attacking each territory simultaneously.
Of course, I don't intend on having them conquer each territory on their own, but to survey the development of the territories. If they do conquer the territory, than great! If not, then as long as they destroy key locations forcing the enemy stronghold to recall their invading forces, or at least withdraw their defending forces into their strongholds that's fine.
This would allow my invasion force to build a basecamp in these territories and slowly absorb the territory until the forces led by me reach the territory. From there, the united invasion force would fully occupy the enemy territory. I would then leave the original invasion force there to manage the new acquisitions and move on to the next. Only one territory would be left unoccupied by an invasion force, but one of the reserve forces. That will be the territory I will invade which is the volcanic territory.
Of the other territories, the volcanic territory is the worst to be invaded by and best to invade for me. The accessibility of rage and extremely pure resources are vital to my war effort. Whereas the fire elementals coming from this land will no doubt burn the forest upon arrival.
This was the main purpose of enhancing the shrine area. At the end of the preparation period, an endless rain of purified magoi now pours down on the forest like the raining season in a tropical forest. With the angelic children clan as I have begun calling them, guarding the shrine, I doubt any force will be able to reach close enough to the shrine since it would only bring death to anyone who has not fully adapted to an environment with such an immensely dense and pure magoi concentration.
Anyway, I currently have my invading forces all in formation in front of the outermost wall. They all stood heavily armed and ready to show no mercy to the enemies they would face. I had already drilled that into their heads, unless the individual proves they have some intel we might be able to use, kill them first and ask questions never! After another 15 minutes, an announcement came,
"Warning: You have 10 minutes before war begins. Please note the other territories are already in the middle of conquering each other. Due to completing all preparation side quests, you will receive a +75% invasion attack and +150% invasion defense bonus which will last 20 days. Please stand by for the invasion gates to open."
Yea, I like the sounds of gaining buffs before I enter an already active conflict zone. I even like the sound of this buff being active for 20 days. I had no desire to drag out this trial any further and will use this boost to the fullest. It was almost as if the dungeon core was saying hurry up already!! Almost as if I was being used to purge the core of a foreign and toxic force, not that I really care at this point. As the message rang out, a blue screen appeared in my retinas showing my dungeon territory stats were,

It's refreshing to see a system window here since I do not have access to the system menu while I take the trials. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. It's just... I don't have to be harassed by achievement messages or that ass hat of an admin reading my thoughts. Still, I miss not having the ability to see system stat windows and the like.
Anyway, I am very pleased with everything I see on the menu and gives me a sense of pride for being a serious gamer in my last years on Earth. I now am reaping the benefits of my devotion to games. Even if I am not able to get full immersion VR, this world has made up for it. While reviewing the status window and lost in thought, the fateful announcement came,
"Warning: Preparation time has ended. Invasion gates are now active. May the fortune of war shine brightly upon you, Challenger!!" In that moment, my authoritative voice rang out,
"Let our conquest begin!! Invasion forces, move out!!!"
As a response to my orders, the thundering sound of boots stomping the ground roared through the rainy atmosphere. A marvelous sight to see my invasion forces neatly went through their respective gates, mine leading to the volcanic territory. As I floated in the air, forces marched into their designated territories.
As for those staying behind, I had them remain under martial law with the remaining children clan leaders acting as the governing body. Additionally, the hollow tree shrine projected a thick tree-like beam into the air which erected an magoi forcefield over the entire forests. Magoi clouds still raining down inside the forcefield while the excess liquid magoi was absorbed into the hollow tree, keeping the barrier up.
