"So is this a dungeon?"
A young boy asked, he was scanning the surroundings in caution.
Beside him is an otherworldly gorgeous woman afloat like a ghost.
The young boy is Kanzen and the gorgeous woman is Tina in her manifested physical form.
Leah couldn't manifest in the outside world, she's restricted in the 'private plane world' and nothing they can do about it 'for now'.
They stayed for about a week inside the 'private plane world' Kanzen was attracted by the unique, mysterious and precious materials present all around the place, a simple grass could even be considered as a divine grade material.
Unfortunately, the current him don't have the ability to make use of such precious materials, one of such material is the 'celestial source water' the first one Leah showed them.
So, in order for him to make use of such precious materials he began to indulge himself on the path of alchemy.
The inside moved ten times faster compared to the outside, in that short time he reached the intermediate stage in alchemy, but such stage isn't enough for him to make use of the most basic materials present in the place.
So, for now, he decided to make use of the 'infinite shop' and purchase multitude of goods he could use endeavoring to elevate his skills in the field of alchemy.
After they left the 'private plane world' instead of appearing where they previously came from before entering it, they instead found themselves inside a dark corridor.
Wandering aimlessly for a few minutes now they concluded that they were inside some kind of dungeon, and not just any simple dungeon but a dungeon that restricted spatial magic.
Even Kanzen's 'void travel' a unique skill that couldn't have been restricted by any spatial lock or suppression is useless here.
Wandering around, they saw strange unknown ancient writings everywhere.
There were also images of a humanoid gigantic insect standing on its two hind legs holding a scepter.
"Big sis, Tina, didn't the world of 'Danmachi' only have a single dungeon? Don't tell me, we are under Babel tower right now? We're inside the dungeon under Orario."
He asked, while scanning the carve ancient unknown writings in the walls.
His ever so calm and composed domineer is nowhere to be found.
Who could stay calm, if you found yourself in an unknown dark place all of a sudden.
"Shouldn't there be lights of sort, is the owner of this place so poor that it couldn't afford some lighting."
He tried joking around to lighten up the ever so depressed mood.
[You're silly, It doesn't seem like we are in the dungeon of Orario.]
Tina giggled as she replied to his question.
"Where not?"
He asked.
[Have you forgotten.
This world is an alternate replica, it isn't the one you know in the story.
There surely are many differences, and ...Considerable differences...]
She said, she appeared beside a wall carving examining it.
"You do have a point, but how can you be so certain."
[This world is too young to have contained this place.]
She muttered, after examining the age of the carving all around.
"You're making me confused."
He didn't understand what Tina was implying.
While he did watch the anime and read the novel of 'danmachi' it doesn't mean that he remembered everything.
During his reawakening thanks to 'starlight' when his memories are returning to him some useless memories were subconsciously sorted out and got disregarded.
His memories about anime and stuff are one of those that have been disregarded.
This is the reason why while he did love the stories he watched and read, he sometimes acted as if he didn't know a thing about them.
She looked back at him and smiled, then pointed at the carvings.
[Can't you see?
These writings are more than hundreds of millions of years old, almost reaching a billion.
That's the same age as the gods of this reality, and there's not a single god in this reality that had reached a billion years old.
This reality itself didn't even reach that age yet.
Furthermore, this place is outrageously brimming with dense dimensional essence.]
"Now that you point it out, this place certainly is full of vibrant pure and dense dimensional essence, it even took a visible form."
In his eyes reflected purple and gray mist-like particles present all around the entire place.
[This place might be a dimensional dungeon.]
Tina assumed, after some speculation, this was the only possible explanation in her mind.
"Dimensional dungeon?"
He asked, confusion is obvious based on the 'questioning' look on his face.
[You recalled reading Korean novels right, what they were famous of, isn't it dungeon stories about otherworldly spatial portals appearing in the modern earth.
Fantasy creatures popping out trying to invade the world.
This place is something similar to that.]
Instead of being surprised by the revelation, he was instead annoyed.
"What a lame twists.
Fantasy world with otherworldly dungeon gates.
What's next, players from other worlds and summoned heroes."
[Hey, don't go around assuming things now are we.]
Tina grinned.
"If what you assumed turned out to be the truth, then in due time otherworldly invaders would begin popping out all around this world bringing forth greater chaos, amd it sounds like a bother."
[Yeah, your not so peaceful life will disappear faster than we anticipated.
So, what would you do?]
She asked, anticipating his answer.
"To begin with I don't really care.
Unlike those want to be heroes I've already done and experience enough of that stuff.
And based on my experience I wouldn't be able to save everyone.
So, I will do what I want and if these invaders that we assume shows up in our doorstep and disturb my life they should be ready to face the once 'Ultimate Destroyer' the annihilator of civilizations and worlds."
[That's a bit irksome on the ears you know, but I love it.]
She smiled, appearing behind him hugging him from behind.
…
Crawl! Crawl!
"Something is coming."
His sensed movements from the corridor up ahead of him.
[Be careful, we don't know what kind of creatures live in here and what level of power they possessed.]
"I understand…"
He nodded ready to act at any moment.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
Seeing a multitude of projectiles coming for him, he immediately jumped to his right side narrowly dodging the deadly projectiles that came from the dark corridor up ahead.
"That was closed."
He muttered, his eyes glimmering a murderous glint.
"A single one of those attacks is enough to critically injure me."
This realization terrified him a bit.
However, instead of backing down he decided to pushed forward, he would rather not be the only one on the receiving end.
He couldn't spot the attacker so he approached the corridor to have a better look at his enemy.
"Is that…"
Cautiously and quickly closing his distance to the corridor where the projectiles were shot from, he finally saw his assailant.
And what he saw, gave him the chills, it was a gigantic purple centipede, its size is comparable to ten wheeler delivery trucks back on Earth.
He looked insignificant in comparison.
[Eek, that's disgusting, be careful.]
Tina's face turned ugly in disgust.
Seeing that it's prey dare to close their distance, the centipede pounce at him.
It opened its mouth wide, it's mouth's diameter is enough to swallow more than ten average adult humans in one go.
The attack was so sudden that Kanzen even though prepared and was on guard all this time almost couldn't react.
The speed of the gigantic creature is just that fast.
He was only able to narrowly dodge the sudden attack, thanks to his unbelievable reaction speed where he quickly cast 'super speed' and 'great leap' magical enhancement spells to himself.
He also thought of using a barrier but his 'future threat seeker' an extra ability branching from the 'primal instinct' unique skill was triggered warning him of how foolish such action.
Thankfully, he did listen to his own ability, so he survived.
The ground where the creature landed after it missed its attack was decimated and the shockwave alone that spread after it landed clearly the creature weight is something to be scoff at.
"That was close, it was so fast. For it to move this fast despite its size and weight, what a monster."
He muttered, cleaning that sweat that began to drip in his forehead while also stepping back a couple of steps trying to maintain a safe distance.
[Thankfully you're ok.
That was close.
This creature is comparable to Level 3 speed type adventurers in terms of speed.
As for it's strength, it's probably around an 'A – Grade' level 4 adventurer.]
Tina said, her worry for him is clear in her tone of voice.
