A young boy around the age of ten dodge the destructive assaults of a ferocious gigantic purple centipede.
Each and every move of the creature ends in the decimation of everything in it's path, a single mistake on the boys part might end up critical.
He held long Japanese sword called 'o katana'.
It somewhat look unfitting and a bit funny on him due to the size difference that isn't to far off.
However, in the eyes of experts if there's one present in the scene.
His sword handling and mastery over the sword might be labeled as godly.
He dodged and deflected each and every projectile coming for his life.
The projectiles being shot came from the creature's shell.
These projectiles are its hairs but extremely sharp, piercing, and clearly deadly for a mere hair.
He was pushed back a few meters after repelling the attacks of the creature.
Twisting his body to the side to dodge another volley of attacks with an almost near perfect precession, his cloth received some light cuts.
"You damn monster, I like that cloth."
"I enjoy our fight all this time, but I don't have any spare to for you.
So, this will have to end here."
He raised his sword, strong mana began to surge on it.
[[maximize magic ×10 – weapon enchantment magic – sharpness]]
He was done playing around.
The earlier advantage the creature had over him was nothing but a surprise.
And now that he was done reading its attack patterns and statistics, the creature before him becomes no different from a pig in the slaughter house.
Swoosh…!
A blue hazy mist swirl around his weapon.
The creatures instincts screamed of danger from this, but it didn't falter one bit as it charge straight at him.
"You ask for it. Simple slash…!"
His figure flickered for a moment and he disappeared from his spot.
The next moment he appeared behind the creature nonchalantly and slowly sheathing his sword back to it's scabbard as he walk forward not bothering to look back.
Crumble…!
The gigantic centipede was cleanly cut into two halves.
"I thought I'll be having a fight of my life, what a let down.
The beast and monsters on the outside are more fun to fight.
It might be stronger but it lacks a crucial point and that is the brain."
He muttered.
The remnants of the giant purple centipede turned into mist-like form as it entered his inventory.
He also placed back his now sheath sword in the inventory.

"Dimensional stones! Dimensional glass fragments!"
Tina's eyes and mouth widened.
"Big sis, what are these stuff, my appraisal and the system appraisal doesn't seem to work on it."
On his hands are the said items, intermediate dimensional stones, and intermediate dimensional glass fragments.
The intermediate dimensional stones look like your typical marble but pure purple in color.
He couldn't even sense any energy coming from it, a stark contrast to it's counterpart that's magic stones from monsters and energy cores from beasts.
As for the intermediate dimensional glass fragments it literally did look like your typical glass fragment, the unique feature distinguishing it from a common glass is it's color being pure purple and the vibrant dimensional essence emanating from it.
But compared to the brimming dimensional essence in the surroundings, these dimensions essence coming from the intermediate dimensional glass fragments gave off a sharp and deadly feeling.
[Just kept those for now, what I can say now is that those stuff right there are extremely valuable. We can talk about that later after we exit this place. You need to first get the hell out of this place.]
"Your right, this place is extremely dangerous, I have this gut feeling that the giant centipede is nothing but a wandering mob…"
And his conjecture was right.
Crawl… Crawl… Crawl…
Ten, no twenty more Ender Centipedes made their appearance.
He grimes, re-summoning his sword, but behind his grimes is a wide smirk that reaches his ears.
…
"Hahaha, putting one's life at risk is always the best way to train.
I can't move well enough compare to my previous life, I'm still foreign to this body of mine."
He sat atop a huge bolder laughing maniacally, surrounding him were gigantic lifeless bodies of the ender centipedes.
He had killed more than 50 ender centipedes.
They just kept coming after him after being attracted by the commotion caused by the clash.
[Thank god your ok.]
Tina said manifesting before him.
She didn't dare to manifest when he was fighting the hoard of ender centipedes afraid to distract him even a little.
"You believe in god now big sis?"
He said while giggling like a girl in his hand were the intermediate dimensional stones glistening a purple brilliance.
[That's just a metaphor you dimwit.]
He wave his hand trying to dismiss Tina whose face had developed into a frown.
"That's just a joke, don't mind it."
Rumble…!
His conversation with Tina was interrupted.
The walls and ceiling of the dimensional dungeon began shaking and collapsing.
[Barrier]
He conjured a barrier to block off the rain of debris.
However, as if someone is playing a prank on him, the first small debris was now replaced by house-like size ones.
His eyes widen in fear, who wouldn't be; huge debris the size of a small house is about to fall at him.
And he could tell, his barrier couldn't hold on against that one.
He dispelled the barrier and summon his sword.
The sword he summoned was the 'Bloody Sakura' one of the four lesser soul armaments given to him as a starter pack and not the sword he had used earlier when hunting down ender centipedes.
That sword is called 'Night' it has the same features as 'Bloody Sakura' an experimental weapon.
Yes, he uses an experimental weapon against the ender centipedes.
He wasn't careless, he was caution, but not to the degree of being overly cautious.
He doesn't really like taking things so serious.
He used the ender centipedes as guinea pigs to test his new weapon that he had created on a whim and the result satisfied him.
… Extra Info …
[Night]
ATK – 1800
EC – 500
The very first weapon forge by a promising genius beginner blacksmith.
Night is the very first item Kanzen had forge.
He had forge it back in the 'private plane world'.
He isn't really enthusiastic in becoming a blacksmithing compare to becoming a alchemist.
So, for now he only created 'night' a 'o katana' for test drive whether he has the talent or not when it comes to blacksmithing.
And it seems he really do have the talent.
He just followed the instructions he had read in the manual and 'night' came to be.
