"Adey," The guy Dave approached them and reached for the girl under his arm. "Sorry for that, she's..."
"Cute." Ash said.
Dave paused, glanced at his face and smiled before nodding in agreement. "Yeah cute." He took a resisting Adey from him. "See you around."
"Ash, Ash are you just going to... going to let another guy take me from you? Ash?" Adey cast a cute, sad face in his direction. It was only sad for a while though, because in no time she was giggling like the little kid she was.
"I don't know who Ash is, but you're lucky the guy you were clinging to found you cute or..." Dave glanced back.
Ash raised his glass in farewell and watched Dave saunter away with his girlfriend. Dave had no idea how true his words were. By the look of things, Devyn had introduced his little sister to one of his business places in order to keep her closer and safe.
Dave was chosen as the blind watchman because of his sexual orientation. He wasn't flaunting it around but Ash figured it out as soon as he saw him enter the room; his eyes were only on the shirtless dudes and not the topless girls. Another person that would give Ash what he wanted.
Before Ash turned away, he thought he heard Adey call his name again. She was going to be the best girlfriend anyone would ever find. He could sense that, and he would help her unleash the potential.
She had to leave the idiot she was calling her boyfriend earlier though; Ash wasn't about to let her cheat on someone else. Loyalty was his Royalty title. What was his was his alone, and what was someone else's was to become his alone.
Ash made sure Dave's car was on the road before he hopped onto his bike.
He had one little thing to take care of before he could physically possess his girlfriend.

"Hey," I entered without waiting for an invitation as usual.
"Adey," Javier closed the door behind me. "You didn't tell me you were coming over."
"I didn't know I was coming over." I told him. "Just found myself at your doorsteps and I'm feeling sleepy."
"Sleepy... no, Adey," Javier glanced up the stairs and grabbed my hand and pulled me back.
"Come on, I'm tired and sleepy. I don't even know why I woke up in the first..."
Javier placed a finger across my lips to silence me. I looked up at him. "You can't stay here for long. You have to leave..."
"I..." I glanced in the direction of his bedroom and frowned at him. "Why can't I stay? Are you having someone... did you have someone..."
"There's someone on my bed. I don't want you to wake..." Javier was saying but my feet had a mind of their own and I was already running up the stairs.
I didn't know what I was expecting when I pushed open the door. Javier's body brushed against mine from the back as he peered into the room as though not knowing what was in there either. I turned to look at him, demanding answers with my eyes.
This was in no way possibly believable.
Without saying anything, Javier softly closed the door and led me back down.
"Javier, your room..."
"I know. He popped up at my doorsteps last night wasted and I couldn't turn him away." Javier started.
Not what I wanted to hear, so I decided to ask. "You know him?" Incomprehensible flashbacks from the previous night blurred my vision. I shook my head to clear it away.
"Yes." Javier said. "I met him a week ago and we kind of hit off. He's new in town and doesn't really have friends yet and I don't know how to drive a bike or I'd have taken him home last night."
"You know where he stays?"
"Yes, I've been there a couple of times." He told me.
"Why can't I stay?" I heard myself ask but my mind wasn't there anymore.
"I just don't want him to see you. He stays close to your street and I haven't told him about you yet."
I didn't have it in me to ask more questions about Ash and Javier so I nodded and left. That didn't stop the questions from running around my head and dizzying me though. Just, how exactly did my actual boyfriend and self-proclaimed boyfriend become friends?
Adey...
Adey...
"Adey!"
"Ash..." My eyes snapped open. "Dawn?"
"Why'd you come to school this early?" Dawn sat don next to me. "Seven thirteen. We don't have class until ten thirty."
I looked around the study room. There were only two other people who weren't there when I arrived. "I honestly don't know how I got here."
Dawn smiled at me. "I think I know how. You were at a party last night and you've been sleepwalking since you woke up, saw something that drove you nuts something about a guy you met at a party last night and decided to come to school and wait for class."
"How'd you come up with that?" My eyes widened.
"You impolitely woke me up with a call before you got into a cab, talked gibberish for a quarter of an hour, said something about study rooms and fell silent for at least five minutes before I freaked out and decided to sacrifice my sleep and come to school to check if you made it alive."
"Ahh..." I groaned and placed my forehead on the table. "I'm feeling sick, dizzy, nauseous, my head is splitting into thousands of pieces too. It's like I'm pregnant." I blinked, double blinked and grabbed Dawn's arm. "Did I tell you something about having sex last night?"
Dawn smiled and shook her head. "It's called a hangover. You drank a lot last night while you have a low alcohol tolerance."
"O'." I lay back on the table again. "But I usually drink with my brother and I never feel half as terrible as this."
"Have you eaten?"
"Oh my god, Dawn," I grabbed her wrist with one hand and scrambled for my bag with the other. "Let's go get some food."
"No, Adey I have a whole assignment to complete."
"But I'm sick. It would be better to return home than try attending class in this state."
"Or you can get your food alone."
"I'm still scared of buying food alone and too shy to eat alone."
"But my assignment..."
"Please?"
"Did you do the assignment,Adey?" she asked and I widely grinned at her. "Wow, you didn't. You had a whole week."
"Let's get food and then we can come back early so that you can complete your assignment and then I'll copy and paste." I said as I dragged her to the door.
"Do past lives really exist? Was I your mother in the past life or daughter?"
"Husband, actually." I said as I clung onto her arm. "I still love you more than anything."
