After the auction, Kaim, his adopted sister, and his grandparents, Lord Kayden and Lady Mira, were pleased with the outcome of the day. They had all acquired pieces that they were interested in and Kaim was particularly pleased with his new sword.
As they made their way back to the mansion, Kaim could not help but admire his new acquisitions. He held the sword securely in its scabbard and the pendant and ring were carefully tucked away in his pocket. He was looking forward to showing them to the rest of his family and friends. Lord Kayden and Lady Mira were impressed by the craftsmanship and the enchantments. Abigail was also impressed by the sword, and she could see the excitement in her brother's eyes.
As they walked through the front gates of the mansion, Kaim was greeted by the sight of the grand, stone building. The mansion was a symbol of the family's wealth and prestige, with its large, ornate windows and intricate details on the facade.
As they entered the mansion, they were greeted by the head butler, who took the items that he had won and placed them in his room. I thanked the butler and made his way to the dining room. Kaim thanked his grandparents and his adopted sister for coming with him to the auction and they all sat down to have a late lunch together.
After lunch, Kaim's adopted sister and his grandparents went to their respective rooms, while he went to his private training room to inspect the item he obtained.

[Reginald's Ring]
Reginald's Ring is a powerful and ancient artefact that was once worn by a great sorcerer, Reginald.
Reginald's powerful flame magic spells and powerful defensive spells and incantations. The ring enhances the wearer's proficiency in flame magic, increasing the power and effectiveness of the wearer's flame spells. The ring also reduces the amount of mana required to cast flame magic spells, allowing the wearer to cast more spells with the same amount of mana.
The ring also provides the wearer with an unconscious shield activation that can absorb and deflect incoming damage. The shield is triggered automatically when the wearer takes damage, and the strength of the shield is determined by the amount of damage taken.
The shield consumes mana as it is activated, and the amount of mana consumed is proportional to the amount of damage absorbed. The wearer can control the amount of mana consumed by the shield by adjusting the intensity of the shield, but the more intense the shield, the more mana consumed. The ring also has a built-in system that allows the wearer to recharge the ring's mana reserve by absorbing magical energy from the environment.
Damn! That's pretty much a broken artefact. It's worth more than my bids. Looks like the Lady of Luck is on my side today.
Then taking the pendant out of his pocket. The system showed its description.
[Elenore's Pendant]
The pendant allows the wearer to tap into Elenore's water magic but only to a limited extent. The pendant allows the wearer access to a limited range of spells and abilities, such as basic elemental magic and basic healing magic. The pendant's abilities can be activated by the wearer's willpower and focus, but the power of the spell is limited and it can be strengthened by the wearer's magical energy and ability.
If you gift this to ????? [Affection Level +1(Only to specific people)]
This pendant is decent and can be quite good for a water element user but It won't do me any good. The Reginald's ring enhances the wearer's proficiency in flame magic and reduces the amount of mana used to cast flame magic spells, while the Elenore's Pendant provides the wearer with access to basic elemental magic that includes water magic. This would create a contradiction as the wearer would not be able to effectively use both fire and water magic at the same time.
Additionally, the Reginald'sRing allows the wearer to absorb and harness the energy of flames to recharge its mana reserve and increase the power of spells, while the Silver Pendant does not have this ability. This would also create a contradiction as the wearer would not be able to effectively use both fire and water magic spells without the ability to recharge the mana reserve.
Though it seems like the system is recommended to gift it to someone. Oh and yeah I forgot to use my Affection gauge. I guess I will use it later when meeting my friends.
Lastly, the sword had a unique design, with a curved blade and intricate engravings on the hilt and scabbard.
[Yatagan]
The Yatagan of the Djinn is a powerful and ancient sword that is said to possess magical powers. The sword is made of a mysterious metal that is said to be forged from the very essence of the Djinn, powerful beings from the spirit realm. The sword is imbued with the power of the Djinn, granting it incredible strength and durability. It protects the wielder from dangerous magic and curses.
With the right user, the sword also has an advanced ability that can be unlocked by the wielder with enough proficiency with the sword, and the ability to summon a Djinn. The wielder can summon a Djinn from the spirit realm to aid them in battle or complete tasks, but this ability requires a significant amount of skill and practice to master.
[You do not qualify for the advanced ability]
This made me a little bit disappointed, I knew that I could use the sword for training and possibly in battle, but I couldn't help but feel like I was missing out on something. Well, at least I got it at quite a low price. I guess the only solution is to find someone who can use it to its fullest potential and bring them to my side
