I and my grandmother arrived at the academy together, with me walking by my grandmother's side. I was dressed in fine clothing, befitting my noble status, with a red and black tunic, black trousers, and a pair of leather boots. I had a sword at my hip, and my long white hair was tied back in a ponytail.
My grandmother, on the other hand, was dressed in her mage robes. She wore a long, flowing gown that shimmered with soft, silver light, and her long white hair was pulled back into a bun. She carried a staff with her, and a small satchel of herbs and other magical ingredients.
As we walked through the academy, I could see that my grandmother was greeted warmly by the students and faculty. She was a well-known and respected figure in the magical community, and many of the students were eager to meet her and hear her speak about her knowledge of magic.
As we made our way to the lecture hall where my grandmother was scheduled to give a lecture, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement.
I took a seat in the front row, listening as my grandmother gave a masterful lecture on the intricacies of magic and spell casting. I already learned this topic but I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as I watched her in action, and I knew that I still had much to learn from her wisdom and experience.
But as I scanned the crowd, my eyes landed on my elder sister, Kira. I felt a pang of discomfort and a familiar feeling of pain and hurt washed over me. I couldn't help but remember the traumatic childhood I had with her. The constant coldness and the feeling of rejection and hatred towards him.
Growing up, I had a difficult relationship with my elder sister. She had always been cold and distant towards me, and I could tell that she held me responsible for our mother's death. His sister's cold attitude made him feel unwanted and unloved, which was something that he struggled with throughout his childhood.
He remembered how she would avoid him whenever possible, and how she would never show him any affection or kindness. I would often try to engage with her and reach out to her, but she would always push me away and make it clear that she didn't want anything to do with me. The worst part was that this cold treatment was not only limited to their private life but also in public, in front of their grandparents and the staff, making me feel more isolated and alone.
I couldn't help but think that my life would have been much happier if our mother had not died and if my sister had been able to forgive me.
It was a lonely and isolating experience for me, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of rejection and abandonment from his sister. He longed for her affection and acceptance, but it seemed like it was something that he would never receive.
Despite his sister's coldness towards him, I still loved her and wanted to have a relationship with her but the constant coldness and the feeling of rejection and hatred towards me change me. I had learned to ignore her and try to avoid her as much as possible.
I saw her looking at me, trying to make eye contact, but I quickly turned my gaze away, not wanting to deal with the memories and emotions that came with interacting with her.
After the lecture, grandmother offered to take me and my sister Kira to lunch together, but I politely declined, saying that I wanted to take the opportunity to tour the academy. Grandmother could sense the tension between her grandchildren and nodded to my decline. I checked the affection between me and my sister and it was very low. You can even say we are strangers.

Affection(1)
As I continued to tour the academy, I had a specific goal in mind. In my previous life, I had heard of a secret room in the library that contained an ancient artefact known as the Shadow Earrings. It was found by a student by accident and the student become a great figure in the academy. Determined to find the room, I made my way to the library, scanning the shelves and walls for any signs of a hidden entrance. I was surprised when I found the hidden room in the library so quickly. Despite my initial doubts about finding it today, I was able to find it after only a few minutes of searching. As I walked through the library, I noticed a small symbol etched into the wall. It was the same symbol that I had seen in my studies of ancient texts in my previous life, and I knew that it was a marker for the hidden room.
I followed the symbol and soon came upon a hidden door. It was cleverly disguised and well-hidden, but I was able to spot it thanks to the symbol. I pushed the door open and found myself in a dimly lit room filled with ancient tomes and scrolls. In the centre of the room stood a pedestal, and on top of it, lay the ancient artefact that I had been searching for. I believe that I found the room after only a few minutes of searching. I felt as if it was meant to be as if I had been guided to the room by fate. Well... A stolen fate it is.
There are several tomes and scrolls but I couldn't take them away because it will be too obvious. I will just have to take them when I entered the Academy later.
I pushed the door back into place and felt it click into place, ensuring that it was well-hidden and disguised once more.
I then left the library, taking the artefact with me, but making sure to conceal it so that no one would notice it. I was determined to master the artefacts and use their power for my gain. I knew that it would take time and effort, but I was willing to put in the work to achieve my goal.
