Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 Past

"Well, we're blessed to have you too, Abigail. And now, let's all sit down and have some tea. I'm sure Abigail would love to get to know all of you better."

"I have something to do so I won't be joining."

"Is it important, Dear?"

"Yes, I hope you don't mind."

"I- I am fine with that"

After confirmation from them, I go to the study room in this mansion. One of the most important things now is to gather all the information I currently have and see how much future memory I have left. I am currently 15 years old which means next year I will be entering the Dotis academy and studying there for 4 years. Then from my memory, I will spend my time either going on an adventure or being a Keraval knight. And then, out of nowhere, a flash of memory came to me. It was a brief moment, just a fleeting glimpse of a face and a voice. But it was enough to stir something in me, a sense of familiarity and nostalgia.

I couldn't quite place who it was or what we had done together, but I knew that this person had meant something to me at some point in my past. I couldn't believe that I had forgotten about them, that I had allowed the memory to slip away. Then in a few years, The Emperor will pass away and his successor will ascend the throne. After that, I will offer my sword to the emperor and after some incident, I will become the empire's sword. Whether Demon invasion, War or Revolt, I quelled it. At some point after that, Someone killed me when I lowered my guard. I can't remember seeing my assassin's face but It's not important for now. I need to get my former weapon and the other important artefact that I can't get previously. For now, I just need to train my body back because currently, my body is weaker than an average knight's.

The study room inside this mansion was a spacious and ornately decorated space, filled with the rich history of the family's long lineage. The walls were adorned with portraits of past ancestors, each one a testament to the family's noble heritage.

The room was filled with books and documents, neatly organized on shelves and in cabinets. There were ancient scrolls and manuscripts, written in languages that were long forgotten. There were also more modern texts, covering a wide range of subjects from politics and economics to literature and art.

In the centre of the room stood a large desk, made from the finest mahogany and inlaid with gold leaf. It was a place where the family's leaders had spent countless hours, poring over documents and making important decisions that would shape the future of the family. Looking through the neatly organized books, I finally found several books related to Awakening.

The Understanding Of An Awakening

History of Keraval Awakening

The Fate of Awakening

There are three books which are about Awakening. I will read it later in my room. Now if my memory serves me correctly, there should be one artefact placed in the garden. After bringing all the books to my room, I begin making my way to the garden. Arriving at the garden, I was immediately struck by the beauty and tranquillity of the space. The garden was a vast and sprawling expanse of greenery, with neatly trimmed lawns and well-tended flowerbeds.

As I made my way down the winding path, I couldn't help but admire the variety of plants and flowers that surrounded me. There were bright and colourful blooms of every hue, from delicate lilies and roses to bold and vibrant daisies and sunflowers.

But it wasn't just the plants that caught my attention. As I walked deeper into the garden, I began to notice a series of statues and other decorative features that added to its beauty and charm. There were marble fountains, carved with intricate designs and depicting scenes from ancient mythology. There were also life-sized statues of mythical creatures, such as unicorns and dragons, that seemed to watch over the garden with a sense of quiet majesty. Soon, I can see a statue in the distance. As I approached the statue, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. The statue was a towering figure, carved from marble and standing tall and proud. It depicted a warrior, with a fierce and determined expression on their face and a sword held aloft in their hand.

But it wasn't just the statue itself that caught my attention. On its head, the warrior wore a crown of shimmering gold, adorned with sparkling jewels and intricate designs. It was an artefact of great power and beauty, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence as I looked upon it.

As I stood there, gazing up at the statue, I couldn't help but wonder about the story behind the artefact. Who had crafted it, and for what purpose? What secrets did it hold, and what was its true power?

I knew that I would never have all the answers, but as I looked upon the statue and its artefact, I couldn't help but feel a sense of mystery and intrigue, and a desire to learn more about this ancient and powerful object. As if the artefact can feel my interest in it, It suddenly appears in my hand.

Previously, This crown is founded by my biological sister, Kira von Keraval, I guess this is why she is a very strong leader. I guess people must have trusted her so much. Well, It is only expected from the Head of Keraval that is. I am sorry sister but I will need this for now. Maybe I will give it to you later. Maybe.
