[Author's Note: Hey everyone, I just realized that I left out Tekina in the last chapter, so I ask you guys to do me a favour and pretend that Enjento didn't give her a task and asked her to stay in the meeting room alongside Scathach.]
Enjento Supai POV:
Enjento looked at the two generals remaining in the room.
"Tekina and Scathach, I have two important missions for you."
Saying this, he pressed a button on the remote control, and the projector showed a map of the continent; Fantasia.
[Author's note: Still working on a name for the world and countries I should have.]
On the projected map, Enjento used a digital pen to circle an area on the map covered with forests, fog, and mountains, which was a few hundred kilometres away from the Aldonia Kingdom.
"Just before the meeting started, Morrigan sent me the locations of several places we can use as our main base of operations."
"Among them, the one that I found the most suitable for the time being is the Isolated Foggy Mountains."
"This was a place that no one bothered exploring, and those who did never came back."
"There are also no rumours about any treasure or terrible things occurring there, so people left the place alone, hence the Isolated part in its name."
"However, because no one bothers exploring that place, if we can just root out the strange phenomenon that makes people disappear, it would become an excellent base."
"Tekina, I'm sending you there to investigate. I have a hunch that the eternal Fog in the mountains and disappearances is caused by a being skilled in magic, maybe a High-ranking spirit like yourself. If possible, try to get them on our side. Since you are capable of Teleportation, I'm giving you three days. If you can't contact the being or figure out what's causing the disappearances, get back to Aldonia, and we'll cross the place off the list."
Tekina bowed in affirmation.
"You can leave immediately."
After Enjento dismissed her, Tekina disappeared in a flash of bright light, leaving Enjento alone with Scathach.
The black-haired spearwoman continued to maintain a look of nonchalance throughout the whole meeting, despite some of the unbelievable things she heard.
Enjento was unperturbed by this since he knew that, apart from fighting, this woman had little interest and skill in anything else.
"What do you want me to do? Apart from fighting, I'm not much good at anything else."
Enjento gave a knowing smile.
"Don't worry. I have the perfect job for you."
Scathach raised a brow in interest.
"Do tell."
Giving a dark chuckle, he replied,
"We are going to storm the base of a group of dangerous cultists."
Scathach gave a feral grin at the mention of fighting many powerful enemies.
"Now you're speaking my language!"
