Chapter 1 - Beginning

There was an attractive approach of her smile, but the guy never realized. She was indeed appealing, he agreed, but he disliked her petite form. She was soft from heart, very soft. A delicate woman, just as he had dreamt of one night before their wedding.

Henry Lancaster, profound in STEM research.

Teacher, Instructor and a guider to million and trillion of the senior students at Harvard. He was known as the heartless person or maybe carrying a stone heart. He was the most distanced, insensitive person in the whole department and yet the smart one. Nominated at every stage award at Harvard. And successful in his carrier yet the most indifferent. He was the alluring, handsome man every girl, even the female staff dreamt of. He was king to their hearts, a gentleman.

Unlike to him, a shy, pretty girl, Felicia Beaufort was the attractive peace in whole university. Boys at the campus looked at her as if she were theirs. She never had imagined of anyone, but Henry Lancaster, her husband. Husband from an other world, she used to think. She had already given him her entire heart than what's the point on wasting her time having an affair with others. A type of sadness always crawled to her stomach when she thought about the way, Henry treated her. He was as always cold to her. No matter how hard she tried, he would always ignore her.

They were formal Professor and a grad at the University, but back home they weren't anyone to each other, not at all. She was rather confused at where her relationship with him was better. He had strictly told her to zip her mouth, not allowing her to expose their relationship, publicly. And he was right. If anyone at the department knew about them, they would try bad mouth them because who disliked playing with one's life. They would either bully them or doubt them of a relationship, which was sacred. Offcourse, Henry never cared about these things, but he knew his wife was the scared cat herself. She would be crying over a died bug. How would she tolerate the way her classmates will judge her, they would offcourse find a new heated topic for gossiping. Which they indeed liked.

Their marriage had been arranged by their parents three months ago. It was the Summer Vacation. Henry flew back to Harvard with his wife, he never spoked or looked at her with love. Just only that one cold glance at her during their wedding kiss. A kiss, she loved and he disregarded. The way his soft lips touched her and his hands on her small waist, that was it; she felt herself in the heaven. The enchanted marriage they have. The kiss, so be it. She only remembered. Hanry's deep voice echoing in her ears, still. She listened to him very carefully, when he showed her their new place around, their home. She never even dared telling him, her new University at

United States, nor she ever asked about his job. She skipped the few days to her university. And sattled herself in the place first.

Then she was a new comer at the unfamiliar, popular place. First day at her University and she bumped in to her husband, shocked she didn't opened her mouth whole the day untill at night he had asked her to keep the relationship a secret and told her the reason to it. And only then she knew, he was a senior professor at the Harvard. She was studying engineering at the same place and he was her mathematician.

Today she got to knew that he was a Research Scientist from a gossip in the corridor. She realized, she needed to stick around with those people in order to know more about her husband. She was shocked at the fact that he came in the list of top ten Research based Scientist. She felt like a proud mother as she passed the library with her wide smile. She came to a halt when she realized someone was looking at her. She searched in her surroundings only to stop at a pair of eyes, she loved, the glitter in them and the way they shone. They were powerful, deep with meaning and extremely beautiful. Her husband's eyes, everything about him she loved. Yesterday, at night when she woke up for water, she had kissed him on his eyes, twice. Thinking about it now, it made her blush. When Henry didn't looked away, it made her blush even more. She bit on to her lip suppressing the smile. She looked at him again, but now he was talking to the other faculty members. He seemed busy and she realized he had never looked at her direction because it was impossible for a person like him to look at her for so long. Wait, what was he doing here? At the library. She seemed to be thinking of that too seriously as she walked and tripped over the carpet. And dump!

The tea in Miss Angelica's hands spilled on her black skirt as she whimpered in pain. The mug fell on to the ground receiving everyone's attention. The tea even spilled on to the book, Miss Angelica was holding.

Felicia stood there immobile. Her eyes suddenly watered, what would happen now. Would they punish her? or maybe she now was to dropout.
