Atticus gets back home, following the mishap that has happened over at the building with Chris. A detailed investigation goes on, as Atticus is summoned by the police now and then. Atticus co-operates with the police giving them all the details, but he does divulge the paranormal activities that transpired. After one such question, he returns back to his apartment. Deep in his thoughts, he tries to go back to his childhood memories where he saw a similar image and had the same sensation. Who did it take? It was a child it took for certain. Was it someone close to him? A lot of thoughts crossed his mind. But he could not pinpoint it. The only other person he could ask is his mother, who he had lost a year ago. He poured himself a drink, trying to ease his mind. The thought of Chris's death too haunted him! Should he confide in Ana, he thought to himself. Maybe she could provide him with much-needed solace. But the maximum he could discuss with her is about the death of Chris and the information that he had disclosed to the police. That he was certain of! A few hours later, and after a few more drinks, he dialed Ana... Meanwhile unaware to Atticus, far away the lead counsel Philippe is braving the desert storms and is about to cross the desert in search of him! There was a comet that blazed by, it was a rare occurrence these days. Philippe looked up at the sky. A comet was sacred, even to the most educated minds like it remained sacred. Philippe got down from the horse and offered a small prayer to the gods. He opened the records... What must the blank pages be, who must have torn it, What must be so important that it had to be torn?
