Chapter 9 - Screams

Damon:

I have been walking in have seemed like endless darkness for so long I lost track of time.

I would have regarded this as a dream if it wasn't for the feeling of weariness that I was experiencing. I could also hear a faint voice chanting the same thing over and over again in a foreign language.

A force was keeping from going back or turning sideways leaving me no choice but to keep walking forward.

Out of nowhere a white portal appeared and instantly sucked me in, sparing me no chance to think.

I opened my eyes and I was completed surrounded by white walls, my eye unconsciously twitched, what is this weird game of black and white is someone playing a trick on me, it could be possible if it's a witch with the power of illusion but I don't know about any strong enough to trap in here for so long.

Surrounded by white walls with no door how am I supposed to get out of here..sigh... at least the chanting voice is gone

Am I supposed to wait here till another portal opens and swallows me again.

The newly found silence disappeared, the sound of a drop filled the air,I looked at the floor seeing that the sound came from a red liquid dropping,it looked and smelt like blood

Instead of feeling thirsty from seeing the blood, my heart wrenched at the sight.

The drop soon turned into a shower, over the noise of the downpour of blood,a blood scream filled with anguish resounded in my ear, I became lightheaded and blacked out.

.......….................

Erica noticed the time at the corner of her phone and realizing that the sun will soon set.

Mom, Dad and the twins would be home by now, what if they are probably worried that I'm not home yet.

They shouldn't be too worried, Luca would have told them about me being in the woods.

Erica's phone vibrated and received several missed calls messages. She was elated she could finally make the call.

She immediately got through to the emergency line and explained the situation.

She also called her parents while she was at it, she was told to stay put that they would come pick her up.

She scanned and current surroundings and realized that she was almost out of the woods.

She rushed back to the cabin to check up on the injured man, also hoping that nothing has gone wrong in her absence.
