Chapter 6 - Chapter 3- The Crooked Prophecy

As soon as she walked into the wedding, all heads turned towards her. Occasionally, the Assyrians came face to face with the witches of Demacia. The reason they hated Assyr was the Empress' favourite without even having any actual powers of the roots. When they saw Cyria, the oldest dragon witch, it was highly unlikely. Her red hair lay off to her waist, and her emerald green gown covered with little jewels and amulets spoke of her originality as the last of her kind. The dragon witch.

While looking like a possessed person, Cyria kept walking towards the bride and groom, ignoring everyone. Magic comes at a price. That is what witches do. They have no control over it. Until she completes the process, they will look like possessed creatures. To be honest, there was a tint of panic on everyone's face.

It was supposed to be a celebration of joy, but the things that were happening in the kingdom told a different story at the moment.

People were well aware that witches had the power to see the future. However, it depends if she was seeing positive or bad ones.

She silently and carefully reached towards Madelyn through her temporary blindness to her powers. To reach her destination, she used her senses.

King Tartelon involuntarily stood before Madelyn to protect her from something he was also not sure of. They were all aware that Cyria was one of the trusted allies of Empress Soraya. But still, the two kingdoms had their differences.

The poor girl was in shock and fear as she saw Cyria standing before her. There was nothing she did for this situation to come up yet. Still, she tried to maintain a calm face.

She slowly kept her hands on Madelyn's belly through her sensing abilities. Madelyn attempted to stop her, looking over to see what was going to happen next with some fear.

Empress Soraya gave her a little nod assuring her that everything was fine. And that somehow made her assured she was still safe. Her eyes searched beside her, as she saw her newly wedded husband standing beside her like a shield. Trying to make her understand in all the possible ways that she was safe with him.

But nothing could compare to the scary stare that she noticed from Yi Hwang, who was standing behind the King. She stood ready holding his sword to fight if he sensed anything going wrong. That is how he is. The temperate one.

That was probably one of several reasons why he was not crowned king of Assyr, despite being the oldest.

The poor girl was in shock and fear as she saw Cyria standing before her. There was nothing she did for this situation to come up yet. Still, she tried to maintain a calm face.

Soraya was nervous. It was the first time in 1199 years that Meridith had heard the King's star again. The time when the universe chooses its next worthy one. The time when Soraya will be finally free from her duties and let go of her long-lived life. And someone who would defeat the army of Achlys.

"A king's star was fated. No one can turn it off otherwise. There will be rare constellations in the universe, where only a few will be born under the constellation of a King's Star. Innate authority. The Saviour."

A King's Star may be born on any of the planets of the Universe, but in these thousand years, there was no one of the fated in Meridith. And so, it was special news.

As it turned out, it wasn't just some random wedding. She is finally seeing hope for saving this universe. Years after it was started, a war was still raging. Not what people usually see. She has dealt with it alone for the past thousand years. The war between Meridth and the demons of Ilsar, Achlys.

The threat was already hanging before them. Not many people were aware of it. The gate which was sealed for the past thousand years by Athena was finally shaking. There is a possibility the gate will open soon since the power Soaraya contains is not much of what is needed. She was becoming old.

"So this was all fated". She thought. The struggle to restore peace around the world has not been easy for her all these years. She needs someone who can seal the gates once again.

Nonetheless, she does not want to be sad today. She is eager to find out what is going to happen next.

But she was scared at the same time. "What if I was not ready to hear what she was about to forecast? What if everything goes wrong? Or it could be good right? I have waited for this moment so far. This was it. Finally". She thought.

"The destiny of this universe lies in the hands of your descendants," Cyria said as she looked into the blazing fire that she created in the air out of nowhere.

I smiled in Eudaemonia. But it was ephemeral.

"But according to what I can read from the stars of the northern sky, this child will bring down the wrath upon the kingdom."

I was bemused.

It was a plight state. I was distraught by her words.

In her woeful eyes, she looked into the fire again and said, "This child will hold the true power of the unlimited power of this world.". However, the powers can also be destructive. It can turn into wrath if not contained."

There was confusion spread across everyone's faces. As well as Soraya's. She was finally happy to know the confirmation of the descendant of her throne. A person who is willing to face the true power of the King's Star in order to take control of the 'Crown of Asta'. This universe.

"But, the powers can destroy the world. That is not what I have planned so far". Soraya thought.

"Is there any way?" I asked in cower.

"To what the stars taking the child's fate, she will meet the 7 kings from another world. Only they shall have the power to contain her. They will be the apricity of her life."

"So it is a princess. The upcoming Queen of Meridith. I must do everything to protect the princess and this universe, with the powers bestowed on me." Soraya promised herself.

Harris and Mika were happy to know that their family was going to produce the next heir to Meridith's throne. Mika's happiness was not within her limits today. With such pride, she began expressing her joy to her husband and other members of the royal family. With her ability to manipulate one's mind, she got to know that everyone was praising her only son.

She was indeed feeling such pride for him.

The newly married couple were indeed a little confused at first but Tartelon was more than happy. He wished she could kiss her in front of the whole wide world to show how much happy he is right now. But the only he could do was hold her hand tightly in joy.

It was not the first time King Tartelon had touched Madelyn's hand. But today was different. She was no ordinary girl anymore. She was his wife. The queen of Assyr.

Although Madelyn was not sure what she was feeling right now. Only someone could tell her that this was just a dream. A dream she could wake up from soon and everything went as it was before. But she could only wish for that.

Soraya walked towards the altar where the newly wedded couple and Cyria were present.

"I demand to know a little more," she asked.

"Fate states that she's the greater

than the northern star.

Her line was woven till the

Worlds and its war

She denotes the power of negative and positive

Of this vast world

She possesses the power

greatest and above all

But to one that will cause the chaos

Until she finds her true self

The 7 kings from another world

Will come for help. "

That left everyone in shock and confusion once again.
