I woke up with a headache, excited at first because of what the god had told me, but then immediately felt like screaming since my body still felt the immerse pain I had temporarily eacaped.
That damned god! I was so sure I'd be waking up in a new and improved Max 2.0 only for this to happen?! See if I ever trust strange gods again!
But immediately after lamenting, I felt a warm feeling wash over me and right after, my bones and skin began healing at a rapid pace. Eventually, I could finally stand up.
"Hmm..... nothing seems out of place. Actually, everything feels just the same. I really thought I'll be getting some major upgrades, like super strength or speed, but I guess I expected too much,"
Like, other than healing, I don't feel all too powerful. Matter of fact, I feel weaker. I think that god was a scammer and is right now probably laughing his eyes out looking down on me flexing my muscles to see which power he gave me.
