Haneul yawned as he headed to the dressing room to dress up to prepare for the second day of school, as he prepared his sister Eui walked into the room giving a small wave at him while wearing a scowling frown.
"You are the main reason we don't reveal our name until full employment." Eui commented in a tired tone.
"So you finally confronted me about it? Come on y'know it was gonna happen." He said as he tried to rip the sleeves off from the shirt.
"You should have at least been merciful." She would retort as she would sigh.
"They aren't on the news, are they?" He'd say as he picked his bag up from the corner.
"That's not the—Huff just don't do it again." She said in a tired tone as the two started to walk out and through the halls heading down using the elevator.
"Yeah...whatever as long as they aren't frustrating." He said as they arrived at their doorsteps, as their driver saw the two he'd bow to them.
"You find everything frustrating." She'd say as they entered the vehicle, as their chauffeur started to drive the two would attentively look out the window.
Haneul would look at his sister, her eyes sharp as she observed the world. "Are you trying to see if that kid will be near?"
"Shin Kim-nim will be one of the greats, they're just in a low place." She said, sighing as she kept looking at the streets and alleys.
"Yes yes, and yet you refuse a sponsor for him."Haneul played with the window, he lowered and raised the black window screen as he looked out, bored.
"You might influence him." She responded as she checked on her phone.
"Huff….So what will the first class be?" He said, sighing as they approached the school closer and closer.
"Not saying." Eui said as the car stopped, she opened the door and exited as the wind blew through her long hair.
"You are as unhelpful as ever." He said as he followed her out, jumping out of the black vehicle as his pure white pupils dilated inside his pure black iris.
"Don't hurt anyone, see you." She said as she walked off. Haneul would simply nod as he pulled out a pill, eating it as he put on a peaceful expression. He would sigh as he started to walk into the school, going through the opulent doors.
As he made his way down the hall, Haneul could feel the sunlight streaming through the windows, casting a warm glow on the polished porcelain white floor beneath his feet. The sound of footsteps echoed around him as other students hurried to their classrooms, their eager faces a blur as Haneul focused on his destination.
Suddenly, a flash of red caught his eye as a red-haired boy and a black haired girl rushed past him, both giggling and laughing as they weaved their way through the crowd. The boy had a piece of bread stuffed in his mouth, while the girl clutched a Choco Pandesal in her hand.
Haneul barely had time to register their presence before they collided with him, sending him crashing to the ground. He raised his head as he was on the ground, he grabbed onto the two's legs making them fall over while the boy's lips twisted into a smirk, his eyes sparkling with spiteful glee.
As the black haired girl and red haired boy fell colliding with the school's porcelain floor, their faces slamming to the floor.
"Fuck! What was that!?" The boy exclaimed as he looked back seeing the apwi-ado with their deceptively evil innocent grin.
"Heya you ssibal, you should watch where you're going, got it?" Haneul said as he laughed at their faces while standing up.
"We're sorry but we're gonna be late!" The girl said as she grabbed onto the crimson boy's hand, bolting as she ran in a hurry.
"I won't forget this!" The boy shouted as he was dragged away while extending their middle and index finger at them.
"Such babo aideul" Haneul sighed as he dusted himself off, he'd start to continue walking down the hallway once more. As he walked, he couldn't help but think back to the collision that had occurred moments ago. He has registered their presence, as he sent them crashing to the ground.
He reached his classroom and looked around as he entered. Approaching his chair, he sat down and glanced over towards the corner of the room to see Emma and Wynn talking.
"Come on Espino, can't we go out for the day? They've just published the new release!" The Blue Haired Oegugin exclaimed as she stomped on the ground.
"We can buy it next time, you still need training. You couldn't even break it last time." The Androgynous Blonde sighed loudly.
"Who could break a tree with just a finger with just 3 weeks of training you miyongsil yeobaewoo!" Emma exclaimed loudly, stomping her foot in frustration.
Haneul chipped his table and held the piece that was chipped away, then flicked it at Emma's face. It hit her at high speed, causing her to reel back in pain.
"Ow! What the hell!" Emma shouted as she rubbed her head, her head now red and swollen from the impact.
"Know the meaning of the phrase before you say it, you idiot." He said in a solemn tone.
"Meanie, it's not like I said anything wrong you little jerk!" She shouted as she sat down and kept rubbing her head, scowling at the boy while furrowing her eyebrows.
He let out a heavy sigh of disappointment, his shoulders drooping as he looked at Wynn. The latter simply stared back with a tired expression on their face.
"What did she say to elicit such a reaction?" They asked with heavy breath, their voice filled with confusion and curiosity.
"Miyongsil Yeobaewoo has some worrying context okay?" Haneul responded, as he rubbed his head with his 5 year old hands.
"Oh…in any case that was a good flick." Wynn commented as they picked up the chipped piece of the table, examining it closely. The piece was small and jagged, with a shape resembling that of a bullet, caused by the flick of Haneul's finger.
"My mother is a Musa, it's only natural right?" He said as he ran his hand over the surface of his chipped table, while Emma simply watched the conversation with sharp eyes.
"I wouldn't know, my folks are at most Gwonsanim...so you come from a clan?" Wynn asked as they tilted their heads, Haneul was about to answer but the teacher arrived as he opened his mouth and hurried the students to their seats.
"Well then let's start the first class this year, I hope you all will stay awake this time. Ahem...now shall we start?" The teacher asked rhetorically as he placed a particular book down on the pedestal, the students straightened their back as he started the class.
The sun was slowly making its way across the sky as the day's classes progressed, the subjects from history, language, maths, science, and social studies all went by in a blur, but finally, the moment had arrived, it was time for P.E.
Haneul, Wynn, and Emma, along with the rest of their classmates, filed into a gymnasium with black walls and floors made of Palladium microalloys and took their seats on the ground. Just as they were settling in, a tall brunette woman entered the room, dragging a red-haired boy and a black-haired girl by the ears. The students looked on with a mixture of confusion and amusement.
The dame towered above the clouds, her tresses a luscious shade of mahogany, expertly trimmed to form a neat bob. Adorned in a tracksuit of a regal hue, the woman possessed shoulders as wide as fortress walls, while her figure curved and swelled in all the right places, from her ample bosom, to her cinched and defined waistline, to her full, rounded derriere, and down to her powerfully toned thighs, firm as the bedrock of the earth. Her robust musculature rippled beneath the loose-fitting fabric of her attire, to Haneul she seemed like a contemporary embodiment of divine beauty, a goddess in human form.
"Hello there my aideul! How are all of you today?" The Brunette woman would say as she dropped the two children off next to the students, with Haneul recognizing them and simply smirked.
"Now it's time to learn the basics of martial arts, woohoo!" The teacher said as she giggled while she rolled up her sleeves revealing her muscular arm, the students would laugh a bit awkwardly as the raven haired girl and the red haired boy slowly sat up, rubbing their own craniums.
Emma would raise her hand, waving it to get the attention of the teacher. The teacher turned her head to Emma, she pointed at her and responded. "Yes, my little blue plum?"
"When do we learn how to use the system?" Emma would ask as she smiled.
"When everyone awakens my little blue child." The teacher said as she pets Emma on the head smiling wildly as she starts to stretch.
"Oh alright then!" Emma said as she stood up and every other Awakener student would stand, Emma waves at Wynn as they walked out and approached a normal seeming gymnasium.
Wynn would wave back as they walked out, the teacher would finish stretching looking at the children. "Well then shall we start?"
With a nod the rest of the students would stand as Haneul gazed around in confusion, their eyes darting back and forth as they struggled to make sense of the Awakened walking out and no one addressing it.
Haneul stood as the teacher started to speak. "Now than for those who are from clans, you still will not be learning Circulation. Now shall we start with some exercise."
"First will be some basic cardio alright?" She giggled tilted her head winking at the students, they would nod as she would crunch her legs.
"Now watch attentively." She said as she seemed to be preparing for a normal jog, stretching her legs and taking deep breaths.
But suddenly in a moment she was there, the next she had disappeared, as if she had vanished into thin air. The children watching her were startled, their eyes wide with surprise and confusion.
But just as quickly as she had disappeared, she reappeared in the same spot, a gust of wind blowing past her and onto the children, making their hair and clothes fly up.
"Now I may have been a bit slow but that should have been the basic speed to start off with." She said as she looked at the kids while they just had a bewildered expression except for three.
"So will this be the whole class for now?" The Black Haired Girl would ask as she propers her posture, standing straight as she relaxes her shoulders.
"For now, yes, good cardio is the start of everything my dear." She said as she turned to the girl, Haneul and Wynn sighed as they stepped forward with a foot, keeping the back leg straight and the front knee directly above the ankle.
Then they bent their front knee, lowering their body towards the ground, while keeping their back leg straight. They then push through their front heel to return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
The other students gulped down as they tried to follow Haneul and Wynn's exercise, and as they finished they tried to fix their posture.
"Let us start now shall we?" Wynn said as he prepared to run with the rest following, they placed their feet on the starting blocks.
Bending at the hips and leaning forward, resting their hands on their thighs then bending their knees repositioned their feet.
As Haneul's small body leaned forward then launched as the wind paved the way from his speed, Wynn would soon follow right behind him and so did the black haired girl.
"Ooo that's good my little sweets, now come on follow them now children." The Teacher said as she slightly pushed the students while their expressions contorted puzzled before looking at the direction of the three others.
The children gulped, shaking their heads as the teacher slowly nudged them. They sweat as they bent downwards and launched themselves off of their feet from their spot, trying to catch up to the three.
As Haneul jogged through the gymnasium, his steps were fast and direct. The wind howled and clawed at his clothes, whipping his hair back in a frenzied dance. The sound of his footsteps echoed across the vast space, accompanied by the steady rhythm of Wynn's footsteps just behind him and the Black Haired Girl's steps beside him.
The Black Haired Girl turned to the boy beside her squinting her eyes. "So which clan are you two from?"
"Orphan." Wynn responded without skipping a beat as if he had said it numerous times while Haneul just kept running, not even an ounce of addressing the question.
"Interesting, I'm from Bae-Hwawon." The black haired girl responded with a little bit of interest as she kept pace with the two.
Wynn tilted their head before Haneul would say in a slightly low bored like tone "North Sea Dynasty"
Wynn slightly opened his eyes before nodding, as the three would leisurely run, a constant heavy breathing and clomping steps would be heard far behind them.
