Souta's curiosity was piqued at the mention of the empire. "Tell me more about this empire," he urged Emily, his eyes gleaming with interest.
Emily hesitated for a moment, looking unsure if she should continue. "I've only heard rumors, but it's said that they are a group of people who live underground and use advanced technology. They have everything from high-tech weapons to advanced medical equipment. I even heard they possess a capsule that can heal you completely."
Souta's mind raced as he tried to process the information. "I used to be a part of that empire, but not anymore," he finally admitted. "To think that they will make an empire," he chuckled. "The decision I made was the right one."
Emily looked puzzled. "Why did you leave?"
Souta's expression turned sad and cold as he gazed off into the distance. "Let's just say that not everything is what it seems, and sometimes the cost of progress is too high."
Just then, Yuki appeared out of nowhere. "Let's go with our practice, shall we?" she said, interrupting the conversation.
Souta replied, "Nothing personal, you can have your practice with Yuki," indicating that he wanted to be left alone with his thoughts.
As Emily walked away with Yuki, Emily couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity and intrigue about him. She had never met someone quite like him before - he was kind and charismatic, yet there was a certain coldness and detachment to him that she couldn't quite understand.
As the two of them walk away, Emily couldn't help but wonder what secrets Souta was hiding. She had heard rumors about the empire before, but she had never met anyone who had actually been a part of it.
As she continued to ponder these thoughts, Emily suddenly realized that she had forgotten all about her training. "Hey are you okay?" Yuki asked, Emily shake of her head, she refocused her attention "Umm, yeah, I just think something random but I'm fine" Emily said, "Okay?" and began to run through the drills that Yuki had taught her.
But even as she went through the motions, Emily couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. There was something about Souta that she just couldn't shake, something that made her feel both drawn to him and afraid of him at the same time.
As the day wore on, Emily couldn't help but think about Souta and the empire. She knew that she had to find out more, to uncover the secrets that he was hiding and to discover what lay beneath the surface of their world.
And so, with a newfound sense of determination, Emily resolved to uncover the truth about Souta and the empire, no matter what it took. For she knew that the fate of their world may well depend on what she discovered
