Chapter 29 - Decisions I Made Were Right

After leaving the city, they walked away from any people. Souta summoned an armored vehicle and they got inside, driving away from the city as fast as possible. Souta had just thrown a pack of medicines into the crowd, and he knew that they would hunt for him because of it.

As they drove away from the city, Souta noticed an ambush being deployed. A dozen people started firing at them nonstop, but with their armored vehicle, it was nothing. "Yuki, protect that girl at all costs," Souta said. They drove faster and got away, but then suddenly Souta stopped the vehicle and got out. "Wait for me here."

With the help of his technology and weapons, Souta singlehandedly defeated all of the guys who had ambushed them. As he stepped out of the armored vehicle, his eyes narrowed and his expression hardened. He reached for the weapon at his side, a sleek and deadly-looking gun that glinted in the sunlight.

Without a moment's hesitation, he strode towards the group of attackers, his movements smooth and effortless. Gunshots filled the air, but Souta dodged and weaved with ease. His attackers were no match for him. With his lightning-fast reflexes and expert marksmanship, he took them down one by one. His face remained impassive throughout the entire ordeal, as if the violence unfolding before him was nothing more than a minor inconvenience.

When the last attacker fell to the ground, Souta calmly walked back to the vehicle and got in. His cold demeanor never faltered, as if the whole incident was just another day in the life of a man like him.

Yuki looked at him with a mixture of fear and admiration. She knew that Souta was a dangerous man, but seeing him in action had left her speechless. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of life he had led to become so skilled and ruthless.

As they drove away from the scene of the ambush, Yuki couldn't shake the feeling that she was in the presence of a true warrior. Souta was a man who lived on the edge, she knew that the decision she made was right.
