"Hmm.....wh-where am I?" Merry wondered as she woke up in totally different place.
"Oh!You are up?"Max asked when he saw Merry.His hair was wet and water droplets were visible on his hair strands.He looked like a heart capturer ,damn hot.
"So-Sorry I fell asleep." Merry apologised.
"Sorry? For falling asleep?Oh dear, you don't have to think this much especially around me.Got it!?"Max said as he was surprised by her apologizing over such little matters.
"Yes!"Merry suddenly agreed which made Max smile.
'He really is different. I caused him so much trouble still he is so calm and speaking so sweetly.'Merry thought to her.Deep inside,she felt a comfort by his words.
"Let's eat something.I have asked them to bring the meal inside the room.Is that okay with you?"Max asked Merry.
"I-I'm not hungry."Merry said.
"You haven't eaten anything since morning.This way you will get weak."Max said with concerned tone and sat on the bed in front of Merry. Merry's heartbeat stopped when he saw him this close with such look on his face.
"B-But.."Merry tried to say something but again her eyes met with his.
"Eat just a little bit?."Max asked again and tilted his head a little which looked more unimaginable.Merry nodded her head.Max smiled and then he suddenly put his palm on her left cheek and brushed her cheeks with his thumb uncontrollably.
'Does she has any idea how beautiful she looks?Gosh! I have never seen such innocent and lovely person like her.' Max thought while looking at her.Merry looked like a fairy in her wedding dress.Her eyes sparkled and her cheeks were blushing by his sudden intimate action.Max's eyes suddenly fall on her lips and he reminded of their wedding kiss.He suddenly realised that he was thinking limitlessly.He took his hand back.
"M-Max..??"
"Hmm..?I am listening."Max asked
Merry was really confused by his actions but something ticklish she felt in her stomach when Max again looked into her eyes .
'What am I thinking,damn this mind.That was just a ritual,but why I am still feeling like touching her lips.You bastard how can you be such a jerk.'Max thought to himself.He wanted to kiss her again but didn't know if she wanted the same or not.
"You are..." Max was about to say something then KNOCK! KNOCK!.
"Sir, the dinner is ready."
"Come in" Max's tone suddenly turned harsh.Merry could tell the difference of his tone when he speaks to her and with others.
The servents placed the meal wisely on the table near the sofa and then left.
"Come here Merry."Max gently pulled one chair for Merry to sit and another beside her.
"Do you like non-veg?"
"Y-Yes."
"That's good."
"Here,have some."
"No!No-Not this much!"
"Eat, if you don't consume food then food will consume you." Max tried to make Merry eat some more.But his words made her laugh.
"Wh-What?! Ha ha ha" Merry laughed freely.Max chuckled on her giggles as it was first time watching her laugh.And he felt more relaxed to see her smile because she cried alot but after this her face lighted up.
"You are really adorable.."Max said it directly looking at her.Merry was surprised on his compliment.
"Do-Do you r-really think that?"Merry asked unsure if he said it truthfully or not.Max was widened his eyes in surprise by her doubt.
"You have no idea how lucky I feel to have you by my side."Max petted her head in assurance.

After having the meal,it was the time for them to perform couple duty.
Servents helped Merry to change into something comfortable gown.It was of dark brown colour with long sleeves and square shaped neck.Servents left the room after finishing.After that Max came inside.His eyes fall on her.He stared like he saw something extraordinary that didn't belong to this world.
"Would you like to...." Max walked closer to Merry.Merry's heart didn't know how to react and how to beat.Then,Max stand in front of her.She felt really small in front of him and other hand Max felt like he was standing in front of a fragile creature.
"Merry?"
"Y-Yes"
"I won't hurt you so don't worry,I won't force you for performing any marital duties.I must look like a heartless creature but I am not a beast...."
"I-I don't th-think you in that way m-my lord."
"I know Merry there is nothing about me good to be told and I know whatever you have heard of me must be unacceptable."It was the first time Max felt someone's opinion that matters was hers.It was true that Merry got to hear only about his dark side,but she felt he is not what people think.His care and help were not only of sympathy but kindness.
"P-People talk alot about me too, but I k-know I am not what they say,so how c-can I think of you according to others perspectives ."Merry said it with a harm smile on her face.Max got more tangled with his feelings.Her words ,her smile,her innocence, everything seemed precious to him.
"I don't know but only your opinion matters to me my lovely wife ,so I don't care about others." Max felt something warm inside his chest because of her.On other hand Merry blushed hard on him saying her such lovable words.
"I....I hope you that the marriage gets annulled if not consummated..."Max voice turned serious as it was very important decision they have to make in this marriage.
"I-I know".Merry hesitantly agreed.She never knew this would feel so crazy.
Both of them were nervous as it was their first time in both of their lives.Max had no idea how to really use appropriate words to talk to a woman.
"Merry, I don't wanna force you.I know these things are necessary but not more than your feelings....." Max himself was quite afraid to even start because he knew his desires for her were uncontrollable.Merry was getting more and more nervous because she knew she needed time to know him but afraid to deny his husband's right to have her wife.Even the kiss was overwhelming for her.Max got the idea that Merry was tensed to take any decision.
"I wanna give time to our relationship.I know you don't know me well yet and it's obvious for you to feel this way.So don't pressure yourself so much my wife."Max said it with a look of satisfaction.
"And I am sure,this will strengthen our relationship because without giving time in any relation ,you end up with pain and misunderstandings..."Max smirked and got more closer to Merry.His words were enough for Merry to feel teary.
"I a-am really a burden for you my lord."Merry felt really helpless when it comes to feelings, she thought she is being really cold hearted wife but she couldn't help
"Don't you dare say that again.Why you think that?"Max raised his eyebrow in disappointment.
"I am no-not even p-performing my duties properly ."Merry said it while her eyes filled with tears unknowingly.
"Don't think rubbish. I married to you for you not for your body.So never feel this way ever again ."Max said with serious expression but then when he saw her tears he lifted her up..
"M-My Lord" Merry starlet by his sudden action.Max put her on the bed and sat behind her and embraced her from behind.
"Please Don't cry Merry .I didn't mean to scare you. I just want you to feel comfortable around me not pressurized.
"Th-Thank you m-my lord.I won't th-think that way a-again.." Merry felt really so much cared and loved in his arms.At first she felt embarrassed but after a while she felt like her soul was healing.After a while Merry stopped crying.
"I know it's shameless of me, but I have desires for you Merry, I am really impatient guy so,be careful..." Max said something that was more than enough for Merry to get red with embarassment.
"Wh-What?" Merry was surprised but was Max talent to say something intimidating in between conversations with Merry.
Max suddenly got his head closer to Merry and smelled her hairs which were silky and shining blackish.
"Damn,You smell really captivating.Merry" Max lost his control but suddenly reminded when he saw Merry's body stiffened.Merry's body was getting hot.His presence was enough to feel this way.
"I guess we should sleep now.Its quite late right?"
"Y-Yes.."
Max stood up and looked confused.
"I think I should sleep on the sofa then."
"Y-You can sleep on bed "
"Really,are you sure?"Max asked to confirm.
"O-Ofcourse."
Then Max went on the other side and laid on the bed.Merry too then laid on bed on the right side.Max covered Merry with a blanket.They were both twisted in their thoughts.
'I think it's going to be a long night.' Max thought.
"G-Good night"Merry said.
"Good night dear."
Max looked at her and smiled.
