Chapter 18 - Godfiend Body Cultivation I

After our little adventure in the Twin Mountains, we got home safely and began to split our spoils and harvests.

I have already separated the corpses and items harvested by each one of us in separate slots on the System Inventory, so it is very easy to split the spoils.

My little sister Chikane, though, is only wanted the herbs and minerals she have gathered by herself and trusted me to just use and sold the monster's corpse as a source of fund for our next adventure.

And as if on cue, my sweet niece Kiseki also do the same.

She only asked for a sack of herbs and minerals she have gathered by herself and some Horned Cotton Rabbit delicious meat to be made as a dinner by her family, while the rest of the loot she also entrusted them to me.

So I give her a sack of the harvests she wanted and another sack of rabbit meat, one each from the level 1 to level 5 with total weight around 40-50 kilograms.

We have killed a lot of rabbits after all, with each rabbit weighing around 7 to 10 kilograms, depending on their levels.

After I give a level 5 Horned Cotton Rabbit to our Mother to be made as dinner while its fur and skin is taken by my Father to be sold, I escorted my little niece back to her home while hauling two sacks brimming with the loots on our hands.

After that, I go back to my own home and take a comfy bath with warm water already prepared by my sweet sister.

It's too bad that she is already taking a bath by herself when I myself is have a little date.... I mean, walk with our niece, or else I would love to take a bath together with her after having our adrenaline rushed during our real combat training today.

While soaking myself in the bathtub I leisurely opened the menu and looks at my own status.

Name: Wiradhi Ranata

Race: Half Heavenly Demon (25% Human 25% Demon 50% Angel Hybrid)

Level: 6

Class: Yin-Yang Enchanter

HP: 535/535

MP: 69/69

STR: 66

VIT: 61

SPI: 61

AGI: 61

Trait: Impish (STR+10%, SPI+10%, VIT-10%)

Passive Skills: Sword and Shield Mastery

Active Skills: Holy Enchant, Shadow Enchant, Vital Strike, Shield Bash, Banishing Light, Shadow Move

Sword and Shield Mastery: A higher level mastery in the arts of using sword and shield after being tempered in real combat, with much more fluent movement that gives you advantage over your enemies. Moderately increases your accuracy, damage and defense while using a sword and a shield.

.....

I am still a Level 6....

Yup, this is real world after all...., there is no way that I can just level up by accumulating experience from killing the monsters like in those video games back on Earth.

But if I looked at it properly, my VIT is actually increased by 1 and my Sword and Shield Proficiency has leveled up to be a Sword and Shield Mastery?

For a mere one day training, that is actually a very good result.

Real Combat still is truly the best way to realize our strength instead of just normal practice and mock training!

After being satisfied with my current progress, I then moved on to the [Inventory] Menu and check out our loots of the day.

Then I moved on to the [Shop] Menu and I found out that I can sell the Items in my [Inventory] to get Resource Points (RP).

The price is quite good, I think.

The Resource Points I can get from an intact, whole monster corpse is equal to their own level.

That is, a level 1 monster corpse can be sold for 1 RP, while a level 10 monster corpse are prized 10 RP by System.

It's very good compared to the market price I know.

Let's say for example, I sell the intact corpse of a Level 1 Horned Cotton Rabbit.

Although the most I can get is 100 Rupis that is also equal to 1 RP based on the current 100 to 1 ratio of Rupis and RP in System, but if I sell a Level 5 Horned Cotton Rabbit, I can only get 250 or at most 300 Rupis after a hard bargaining in the market.

If we use the 100 to 1 ratio of Rupis and RP in System, that means at most I can only get the value equivalent to 3 RP from the market.

Not to mention, the RP from System is much more useful than real money for me right now, since the powerful items in System [Shop] can be bought only with RP and not real world money.

And so, I began to sell out almost all of the monster corpses I have in my Inventory, leaving only a bunch of Level 1 Horned Cotton Rabbits for our food ingredients and 5 monster corpse each for every species, with 1 corpse for each level they have.

That left me with 12 Level 1 and 4 Level 2 - 5 Horned Cotton Rabbit, 5 Level 2 - 6 Odd Weed, 5 Level 3 - 7 Bubble Frog, 5 Level 4 - 8 Gloom Bloom, 6 Level 4 - 9 Yellow Zap Rat, 5 Level 5 - 9 Cyanosaurus, 6 Level 5 - 10 Cinnabarosaurus and 5 Level 6 - 10 Red Drake intact corpses in my inventory.

I sell the remaining 92 monster corpses in various species and around level 2 - 10 and get a whopping 552 RP.

Added on with some herbs and minerals I also sold off and I get another 166 RP.

I still keep the stat increasing items like the mountain protatoes and grapranas along with the exotic tea leaves and the elemental attribute stones in my inventory for my own use, though.

So in total, I get 718 RP from the hunt the three of us doing together today.

Hmmmm..... Now that I am done with all the selling and sorting out the spoils of war from todat, it's time to check the reward of my Quest completion.

I have killed 24 monsters in level 6-10 alone and around a dozen others when I am helping out my sisters and niece took care of the strong monsters that they fight in their turns.

[First Batch of Blood!]

Description: Kill 10 Creatures which have equal or higher level than you.

Reward: A Suitable Top Tier Cultivation Manual.

Status: Completed

*Ding*

As I confirmed the System Quest Completion and redeem the reward I should be able to get, the clear sound of a wind chime rang softly in my head along with the appearance of a new item in my inventory.

Let's see what kind of Top Tier Random Cultivation Manual the System give out to me.....

[Godfiend Body Cultivation Method]

Author's Note:

Happy Friday Thirteenth, Everyone~!!!!!

✺◟( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)◞✺

ヾ(^-^)ノ"

By the way, unlike in other's cultures and beliefs, 13 is actually a Very Lucky and Sacred Number in our Pantheon. It is believed that one of our Supreme God unites with His Consort(s) on the 13th day of the Month.

(You know what I mean by "unites", right?)

*Blink blink*

(๑˃̵ ᴗ ˂̵)و

Combine that with how Friday is the day that are often associated with Fertility, Love, Sex etc etc (mainly with Freyja, the Nordic Goddess of Love, Lust & Fertility) and you know what kind if amazing combination I have in my mind now.
