Such is my stats on the New Year Day.
And speaking of New Year, it's time for Hatsumode, the New Year's First Temple Visit!
After we visited the Temple Fair last night with festive spirits, I and my little sister washed up ourselves clean of any impurities and wearing fresh, new clothes, I and my little sister, together with our Father and two Mothers, the five of us go together for our first time visiting the Temple on this year.
My little sister looked so sweet like a fresh vanilla ice cream with how her lithe, well developing body is wrapped nicely in a snowy white kimono with some blue hydrangea flowers drawn aesthetically on the right waist and left breast part of her kimono.
After praying at the temple, it's time to draw out the Fortune for the Year!
We met with our niece Kiseki at the Fortune Drawing Locket, the place where we will draw out a paper lot that contains the predition of our luck and fortune on this year.
She also looked very cute with her black kimono that have fluffy furry warm neckpiece and a bunch of red ginkgo leaves drawn out beautifully, flowing like a set of flower arrangement on her budding breasts and long sleeves.
After putting a single copper coin worth 1 Rupi on the donation box, each of us shakes a Bamboo Box containing the Fortune Lot until a single paper roll appeared on the hole in the box and it can be pulled or drawn out of the box.
It's time to d-d-d-d-d-d-duel~
And I activate my Spell Card: Heart of the Cards to draw out my desired Lot of Great Fortune!!!!
Just kidding.....
I got a drawing of a Full Moon with a feminine face looking down the earth below from it and 14 sparkles of moonlights are shining down, illuminating the path that are shown in the middle of the earth where a dog is standing on the left, a fox on the right, while a lobster shrimp as big as the dog and the fox is approaching from the water pond pictured on the bottom of the drawing, it coming out from there with spiraling ripples on the surface of water accompanyining its approach to the land.
Last but not least, there are two Obelisks on the far left and right side of the picture, towering so high in the horizon of the image.
On top of the drawing there is a number XVIII, and below the drawing the words "The Moon" is written there.
Yup, the drawing lot of fortune used in this world's New Year First Temple Visit are using the 22 Major Arcana Tarot Cards (44 if you also counted the Reversed Version of each of them) instead of the usual Japanese poetic one hundred prophetic five character quatrains Divination Lots, which are also known as Omikuji ("Sacred Lot"), Jie Daishi or Ganzan Daishi Hyakusen ("Ganzan Daishi's One Hundred Lots") and Kannon Hyakusen ("Avalokiteshvara's One Hundred Lots").
I got Arcana Number XVIII The Moon, this card is a card about the illuminating darkness (represented by the moonlight), the natural cycles of the world (which is represented by the round, full moon), illusions (represented by the illusory womanly face shown on the moon), the animalistic consciousness and unconsciousness (represented by the dog, the fox and the lobster shrimp) and the path of live that lies ahead (which is obviously represented by the path shown in the picture).
I think this card is about to tell me to pay attention to my intuition and dreams that I kept deeply both consciusly and unconsciously.
Also maybe it's about how I hides a very big secret (my System) and kept even my own family who are very dear and close to me in the dark.
Or maybe that someone else is also hiding something from me, which will cause some problems in the future.
I think that this fortune lot is advising me to go within my inner self to seek better understanding of my own self before I make any important decision and acting on it.
It may also be telling me that it may be wise to keep some important secrets still hidden for now.
This card can also tell me to pay attention to the others close and dear to me, as maybe they are also hiding something important from me.
So much to tell from just a single picture card drawn on a fortune lot.
Let's see what kind of fortune lot that my little sister Chikane and my sweet niece Kiseki is drawn out.
My little niece Kiseki is going first...., and she got a reversed picture of a Goat Demon God Baphomet (or maybe the Devil Molloch, it's up to you, I prefer Bapho-chan than Molloch-san here) standing with one of its hand lifted up that is seemingly beckoning the people seeing this picture to come watching it closer, and another hand is holding a blazing torch pointing down to the ground.
Below (or above, since the picture is reversed) the goat devil with a pair of leathery gray bat wings on its back, there is a couple of naked man and woman, their necks are bound by an iron chain connected to a ring fixed on a steele stand in the middle of them, the steels is the place where the devil roost itself on like a cock roosting on a tree branch.
The naked man and woman both have a pair of curved horns on their head, with hairs set ablaze like orange flame.
The man's tail is ended in a blazing flame on its end, but the woman's tail strangely has grape fruits grown on its end.
There is a reversed Number XV and a reversed pentagram drawn on the goat devil's head, and on the top of the picture, the words "The Devil (Reversed)" is written in a bold font there.
I think this usually ominous picture is now having a better meaning now that it's reversed.
Arcana Number XV The Devil which is usually reprensented an obstacle barring your path ahead in life would now means something like a breakthrough since it's meaning is now reversed.
This picture, which are usually also represented the oppressive situation currently pressing on its drawer, would now have a meaning of "taking control of our own lives" since now both its picture and thus also its meaning are reversed.
All in all, this fortune lot which is usually an ominous sign would also be categorised as some kinds of "good fortune" now that it is reversed.
I think it is good enough now for her, so let's move on and see what kind of card.... I mean, fortune lot that my own dearly little sister Chikane has drawn out.
My cool and composed little sister smiling sweetly to me while she is showing her fortune lot.
It's a picture of a handsomely man, a knight in shining armor holding a staff going out from a castle town while being carried in a winged carriage that is being pulled by a pair of black and white sphinx.
A number VII is drawn above the head of the man crowned in a coronet with a sun carved on the middle of the crown.
And the words "The Chariot" is written both boldly and elegantly in the bottom of the picture, completing the image of the charismatic man drawn on it.
Okay, Arcana Number VII The Chariot... It is a very simple and straightforward Tarot, just as simple and straightforward as the knight drawn on it.
Like how the man in the picture who is confidently drives the winged carriage that is being pulled by a pair of black and white sphinx out of his castle town, this fortune lot is also telling its drawer to be confident and take the reins of their life to venture the paths that lies out ahead of them.
