"Anything?" General Elliott asked and the man responded by shaking his head.
The general sighs before turning to a man wearing a lab coat. "What have you learned from your observations?"
"Her left eye seems to be sensitive to sunlight, I believe you can cause a lot of pain if you expose her to sun rays."
"General Elliott ..."
The general turned to see a grey-haired woman. "Special agent Dallas," he smiled as his eyes scanned her body from head to toe and back. "You were right about people trying to break Ferb out of maximum security."
"Mystics?"
"Based on initial findings, there was none. The group was unarmed when they first entered the facility but got a hold of at least four grenades - they set off two of them, nobody was injured or killed from the act although several were found unconscious from separate incidents. We also found evidence that a smoke grenade went off on the outskirts of the facility, no idea of who, when, how or why."
"Who's that?" The blue-eyed woman pointed at the cinnamon-red-haired woman who was locked in a brick-walled room.
"She was with them, we grabbed her before she could flee."
"What has she told you?"
"Nothing. We've tried playing music at full volume, had her sit uncomfortably, dogs, and a bit of force ... She said nothing. We're thinking of waterboarding and electrocution next."
"Let me try?"
"By all means." The general points towards the door to the room. "Would you like me to get you scissors and a broomstick?"
Ignoring him, Dallas made her way into the room Aislinn was kept in. She found the woman with teary eyes and a bloodied nose.
The agent walked behind the cinnamon red-haired woman and cut the bond that tied her hands behind her back. She walked to Aislinn's face and grabbed her jaw softly before wiping the blood off her face. She then took the woman's eye patch and helped her wear it before finally pulling up a stool and sitting opposite the heterochromic-eyed girl.
"Hello Aislinn, I'm Special Agent Dallas from the United Republics Secret Service."
Aislinn's head quickly rises and her eyes stare at the woman's following the mention of her name.
"You know what it means if a URSS agent is here right? The Supreme Leader is aware of your case and has authorized the use of enhanced interrogation techniques, I don't wish to take it that far. I know you wish to be loyal and do not want to tell on your friends so I can respect that but I urge that you confirm or deny the information I'm about to tell you, a simple nod would do; I'll ensure that you're released if you're cooperative. Do you understand?"
Aislinn nods.
"Good. Do you agree that mint flavor is the worst ice cream flavor?"
Aislinn raised an eyebrow. "You don't have to reply, I know the answer; chocolate is the worst. Can you believe some people prefer chocolate to mint? It's ridiculous."
Aislinn shakes her head.
"You don't agree?"
Aislinn nods.
"A chocolate ice cream lover, I don't understand you guys." Aislinn shifts in her seat and checks the time. "We have to hurry," she said in a low tone. "Not including you, four people were involved in last night's breakout that saw Ferb freed from prison."
The cinnamon redhead nods her head again. "You were the one responsible for unlocking the doors during the operation."
Once again, Aislinn nods.
"Hunter Heffernan was one of the four operators."
Tears form in the corner of the cinnamon-red-haired woman's eye.
"Do you wish to stop this interview?" Agent Dallas asked.
Aislinn shook her head.
"I'll continue then. Hunter Heffernan entered the UR on xx-xx-20xx along with Ishani Parmar and another female. Their mission which was sanctioned by the Alpha Sector was led by Camille Lovelace who also arrived at the UR using a portal along with you and at least one other person."
Aislinn remained quiet. "Isn't that right, Maxine?"
"Aislinn."
Agent Dallas' eyebrows shoot up. "What?"
"My name is Aislinn."
"Right. Aislinn, why did they want Ferb?"
...
Agent Dallas walked out of the interrogation room to meet with General Elliott who looked impressed.
"How did you know her name?"
"The DDoS in West Lionwell two years ago. We were able to trace the attack back to the source IP address, three were arrested, and one of them gave up her name during the interrogation."
"I remember that; one of the hackers said it was in protest of the Supreme Leader's policies. The Supreme Leader used to be popular with the masses when he was elected, it's crazy how much criticism he gets today," the general noted. He turned to the blue-eyed woman, "How did you know she was the same Aislinn?"
"TranSec keeps track of wanted criminals who live outside the Union. She lived in Dreieck during the attack at the time of the attack so the Executive Assistant Director of the United Republics Security Branch advised that we keep a watchful eye on her instead of entering hostile territory. We've been monitoring her ever since and since she still uses the same laptop we knew when she appeared in the Union. I was alerted by the Transnational Security before I came here today that she was inside a military facility."
Elliott nods. "I always thought hackers used aliases. This one must be a rookie."
"She was able to remotely unlock the doors in a supermax so I wouldn't underestimate her. It's my understanding that the hacker who knew her by name was close with her and the two had done other jobs together."
"Aha. So what's next for my squad?" The general asked. "Are we to look for these gems the hacker was talking about?"
"Negative. You're to remain on standby until the Supreme Leader reviews the developments."
"What about the girl? Is this a good time to inform you Camille called me while you were interrogating her?"
"Release the girl. I don't think she's withholding any information so she's of no use to us. Camille would probably ask you about her so feel free to ignore her."
"I was thinking of having a bit of fun before releasing the girl."
Dallas raised an eyebrow. "Fine, have your fun but do not hold the girl any longer than 48 hours." Dallas began walking away but stopped and turned back to face the general. "One more thing: destroy every picture and video of the interview you conducted before I arrived."
"That's against the –"
"I don't care. It didn't happen so the footage shouldn't exist."
Dallas made her way out of the facility and walked to a nearby park where she sat on a bench located at the far end, she took out a large newspaper and began reading its contents.
Sometime later, a middle-aged woman with brown hair and green eyes who had been jogging around the park for a while suddenly stopped to tie her shoelace that had come loose.
"I confronted one of them at the maximum security like you asked; he didn't use any powers but I could feel an evil energy bursting out of him," said the brown-haired woman.
"There's a music video on the internet by Ferb called 'Carats' Look it up and watch the whole thing," the gray-haired woman said.
"You're going to make me listen to Ferb sing?"
"He flashes a necklace multiple times in the video. The necklace has a mystical stone called the gems of infinity, familiarise yourself with it because you'll are to gather as much of them as you can."
"A search job? This better be interesting," said the green-eyed woman.
"That reminds me," said Dallas. "I met someone with an interesting surname the other day. Bruno Antunes."
"You met my brother?"
Dallas began folding the newspaper. "The first half of your pay is already in your bank. You'll receive the other once you've completed the job. Don't try to contact me, I'll let you know if there are any changes." With that, Dallas rose to her feet and made her way out of the park.
The green-eyed woman finished tying up her shoelaces. "Manipulative bitch!"

"I think it'll be better if we head out and get Aislinn out of wherever she's being held," Hunter said.
"How? We don't even where they are holding her, numbnut," Maxine said.
Hunter frowned and turned to Max but Camille quickly stepped between them before things escalated. "I already called the General, I'll be meeting with him soon to discuss the matter. You," she turned to Hunter. "Use that anger and get Ferb to tell you where he hid the necklace.
