Mercedes initially thought the demon was a patron of the raven-haired woman who stood across from her but the body suddenly disappearing confirmed a suspicion she had: someone else was pulling the string all along.
While the icy blue-eyed girl was not elite level when it came to sensing energy, she knew the instant a domain was opened and believed the honey brown-eyed woman was responsible but when a demon showed up, she thought him responsible. When the demon didn't do anything with the domain she suspected someone else was responsible.
Mercedes turned to the snake demon who slittered to the ground and picked up her trident. The Archaeon wasn't sure whose domain she was in but if she had to take a guess it would be a very powerful pure demon.

Hunter watched as Diana panted jadedly.
"Shouldn't we do something?" said the sprite.
[Hahahahaha.]
'What's so funny?'
[You always thought Diana was like Zoe but she's more like Naamah; they bite more than they could chew. Earlier the healer was saying Diana was only trying to exhaust Trinity but she was wrong. Diana genuinely believes she can beat the battlemage, she's never been more wrong. I believe the healer's starting to see Diana's intention.]
Hunter turned to see Skylar watching the two Drumalak with a confused look.
"Catching your breath already? That's not a good look on you," said Trinity. "I haven't even gotten out of first gear yet," she added.
"Neither have I!" Diana exclaimed as she raced towards the Archaeon. She attempted to strike the latter with her vine-wrapped hands but the battlemage easily avoided the attacks.
"Tell you what? If you land a single hit on me, I'll go get Mercedes and we'll get out of your hair," Trinity taunted.
Diana groaned and leaped towards the silver-white-haired girl's head. The latter shifted her upper body backward to avoid the attack and the snow-white-haired woman unwrapped the vines around her hand and sent them towards the Archaeon.
Hunter thought the move was a sure hit until Trinity somehow dodged the attack and appeared behind the elemental.
'What the?!'

Aislinn groaned as she got up from the ground, dusting off the sand from her clothes and hair. She looked up to see Hachimura taking the fight to the beige-eyed man. "This is my chance to get Titan!"
As the honey-brown-eyed girl ran towards the next room, she stopped to admire Hachimura's swordcraft.
Kilian was a dark mage who would've preferred to keep his opponent at a distance but Ai's high-intensity offense made him resign to a low block.
The blue-eyed woman didn't let the beige-eyed man breathe, suffocating him with unreal pressure that the latter had no choice but to cover his hands with dark energy so that he could block the former's attack with his arms.
"She's so cool!" Aislinn thought before shaking her head. "I mustn't get distracted."
Backed into a corner with few moves left to play, Kilian wrapped his entire body with dark energy and charged forward like a battering ram, knocking Hachimura out of his way.
The Archaeon continued towards Sophia who was standing by the door to the balcony.
Knowing that the beige-eyed man was there for Sophia, the cinnamon-red-haired girl decided to confront the mage before he got to her but Aislinn - who was not a mystic - stood no chance against the Archaeon.
He flung her about like a rag doll before tossing her aside and continuing his march towards the redhead.
Suddenly, Kilian felt his feet cold and he was unable to move. When he looked down, he noticed his leg had been frozen to the ground. He turned to see the architect of the move only to be greeted with a heavy punch that knocked him off his feet.
Kilian rubbed his nose and found it bleeding. He looked up to see standing above him was the battlemage he had fought earlier only this time, she had ice blonde hair and ice blue eyes.

Diana got up from the floor and raced forward, her face bloodied and bruised. The snow-white-haired woman receives a kick in the midsection that sends her down to the ground.
Diana coughed and curled up in pain. "Giving up already?" said Trinity.
The elemental does not respond, remaining still on the ground even as the silver-white-haired girl approaches her.
[It seems I was wrong; the healer knows Diana doesn't stand a chance, she just wants to keep the fight going for as long as possible.]
'Huh?'
[Why do you think she hasn't asked you to break up the fight?]
The silver-white-haired girl walked up to the defeated elemental. "Get up Diane. Get up and keep trying." Trinity helps the peach-eyed woman up to her feet. The latter throws a sluggish punch that the battlemage easily avoided before dispatching her by striking her with her forearm, sending her face-first into the sand.
"Oh well." Trinity took her sword and walked up to the older Drumalak. She puts her hand up before bringing it back down with force aiming for the back of Diana's neck.
When she brought it back down, however, there was no one there. Her head turned sideways to find Hunter on his knees with the snow-white-haired woman on the ground in front of him - the sprite had moved her out of the way.
"I was wondering when you were going to act," said Trinity.
Hunter picked up a long metal rod from the ground - it was part of the wreck from when the silver-white-haired girl hit Diana through a truck.
"Happy to put your mind at rest," said the dark-haired boy as he pointed the metal at the pale-skinned girl.
"I wasn't worried for me," she replied. "I thought I'd have to kill poor Diane to get your attention," she said. "I don't think Diane introduced us; I'm Trinity."
"I'm Hunter," said the teal-green-eyed boy.
Trinity smiles. "While it is nice to meet you, Hunter, don't expect me to go easy on you," she said tightening her grip on the blade.
